This stuff is amazing! I’ve tried other green drinks but they tasted like yesterday’s lawn clippings. This one tastes like matcha green tea to me. It blends well and the drinks you can make with this are endless. I put in one scoop with an avocado, cucumber, spinach, and fresh lemon juice. Tastes great and the vitamin/mineral content in this stuff beats anything else out there. I’m going to make some keto fat bombs with it. If you are into healthy green drinks you cannot go wrong here and water lentils are going to be the next big thing I bet. This product would also be great for people with ailments or those suffering with deficiencies. Awesome product and definitely re-ordering!

I purchase a different green powdee6 contained in a plastic pouch, which I get on Amazon. This lentil powder has a quality of its own. Great to add to salads and smoothies. I think it works well with vegetables yet not as well as the other powder I get, to mix with fruits. I think the cinnamon added to it along with some other ingredients is why. Nevertheless, I recommend you get both to add to your daily diet as well as use as emergency resource in case the food supply is diminished. There is much talk about that issue. Stock up on supplies that have long shelf loves and take up little room. Make sure you rotate your canned goods to use timely, because their shelf life is limited. This lentil powder can also give nutritional boost to baked recipes. A healthy person is most apt to be a happy person.

I follow a special diet for a chronic health condition, and I'm always interested in new protein powders that meet my needs. I hesitated to order this because what I need is protein powders, not greens powders, and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to use this in large enough amounts to significantly add protein without negatively affecting the taste/texture of food. As it turns out, I feel like it's on the border between protein powder and greens powder. I don't think I'll order it again because it's expensive and I eat plenty of other green foods. However, I'm still glad I bought just for fun/variety, and I'm enjoying using this canister of it.Versatility: I've put it in smoothies, no-bake protein bars, dehydrated high-protein granola, and seasoned seed topping mix. In most cases I've combined it with other milder-tasting single-ingredient protein powders (e.g. hemp or pumpkin seed protein).Taste: distinctly “green” and mildly algal, but not in an unpleasant or overpowering way. To my tastes, about three to five grams is a good addition to a gigantic smoothie with lots of other good-tasting ingredients—it's detectable but not unpleasant. For reference, I have super-sensitive taste buds and like my smoothies to be genuinely delicious, but I'm also used to “healthy-tasting” food. In energy bars or granola, I think a larger amount per serving tastes fine.Color: dark green. I was afraid it would turn beautiful green smoothies swamp-colored, but in the amount I'm using, green smoothies stay bright green. It does add have visible green specks if I look closely. It definitely didn't make the prettiest granola, probably because I used so much of it.Texture: fine powder. No chunks or grit. Doesn't do anything too bizarre texturally in recipes.Usability of package: obviously this is in plastic, but the canister isn’t outrageously large relative to the volume of powder in it. Mine arrived adequately sealed, was easy to open, and is easy to tightly reseal. I frequently transfer protein powders to mason jars to avoid gigantic or hard-to-use packaging, but I left this in the original canister.Clarity of description: I originally gave this four stars because I felt the description wasn’t super clear whether it would function culinarily more like greens powder or protein powder. But I’m upgrading it because I realized that while I was waiting to be able order this on sale, the package (and maybe formula) were changed and I wouldn’t have been confused if I’d only seen the current package. I do feel the comparison to “other plant protein powders” in the Amazon page features and details is sort of inapt though—for my needs this could not be used to replace other plant protein powders, because the water lentil protein isn’t something I’d add to recipes in a large enough amount per serving to meet a significant portion of my protein needs.Note: I review foods and supplements based ONLY on my liking of their taste and culinary properties, and whether they work for me. Not being an expert in nutrition or food safety, I have NO IDEA whether the health, nutrition, and safety claims made on the package are accurate so that doesn't come into my rating!

This is really good adds a boost of greens to my daily regimen. I either use it in my smoothie or I put in water with lemon and stevia like a green lemonade. Tastes green, but you get used to it. I will buy again.

I think the main think I disliked here is that there is so little product in it. If you take the recommended dose, it's gone rather quickly. That said, it could be that this is the case, because this product is 100% pure. I love purity, but I really dont want to visit the store for a product more than once a month. I prefer Clean Machine Lentein to be honest.
