The best tripod available for laser level use
5 stars all the way, actually 6 stars be better. Just picking this up, can feel the quality, hard to describe but light years better than the $40-70 tripods found everywhere, not even close. Super rigid when open, no hokey lame balancing, has 2 bubble level circle windows, 1 for the tripod, the other for the rotating pad where the laser level sits. The up/down crank works excellent, smooth with good metal grind on the gear teeth. Liked this so much gave away my other tripod for camera/ laser level use. If this is a negative, is one, this sadly does not come with a carry case or bag. Also, no instructions included either. But this is pretty self-explanatory. Thanks Bosch for a wonderful tripod.

Solid
I bought this for my DeWalt Green laser, being sick and tired of the flimsy tripods typically recommended for lasers. It seems there sre only cheap/flimsy and expensive/industrial-grade tripods, nothing in-between. My main gripe with this tripod is that the legs don't lock in (at least) one position. I'm installing cabinets for a big kitchen and the floor is high-gloss porcelain tiles, so the legs don't get a firm grip, even with rubber tips. Hence, I deducted one star. On a side note, I was unable to find what I thought would be a common accessory for this tripod when used with a laser. The elevation is easily adjustable, and the distance to the subject is not significant. But a left/right adjustment so you don't have to constantly try and move three legs without rotating the laser is a HUGE need that seems to have gone overlooked.

The handle is a tightening pin!
This is a great stand for the price. I think it’s getting bad reviews because people are confused about a few things: 1. This is a tool stand. It’s not really for cameras. While it will work ok with something small like an iPhone or a GoPro (you need the right attachment), it’s not designed for range of motion or to be held at awkward angles, it’s designed to be set up flat, locked in place, and then fine adjusted for height. If you are looking for a camera stand, you will find this product has the wrong features for that application. 2. Since this is not a full-range, ball-bearing style headmount, there is an individual tightening pin for everything, INCLUDING THE HANDLE WHICH ROTATES TO TIGHTEN FORWARD/BACKWARD PITCH. I almost returned it over this, and even though it shows you on the side of the box (duh), I saw photos of tipped cameras so I’m not the only one who missed it. Familiarize yourself with what tightens what and only loosen what you are adjusting. Of course, it’s not going to be sturdy if you forget to tighten all of the pins. 3. It’s a $30 stand. I am more than happy and it exceeded my expectations as a new homeowner getting deeper into DIY (the listed height doesn’t include the elevator, which gives you another 14” or so, omni-directional mini bubble-level tells you if the floor is off), but it does contain plastic parts such as the elevator crank and the leg locks that I wouldn’t consider heavy-duty. While they don’t feel chincy and cheap, if I were a contractor I wouldn’t throw this in the back of my truck with a bunch of other tools and expect it to hold up. If you’re using this for its intended purpose, it works great and is easy to fold and store. Pros and photographers will regret cutting corners here.

Rock solid
I have been using another tripod with telescoping legs. What a pain. This one does not have leg bend stops which makes it easy set up on uneven hillsides. It is strong. The leg points have tabs to step on and push them into the soil. The quick release adjustments are such a dream after telescoping legs. It is just so fast and secure. Another thing I didn't expect are the built in straps. There is a snap strap to wrap around the legs and secure the legs during transport. And then there is the carry strap. I haven't tried shoulder carry (it seems a little short for that). For hand carrying it is a big plus. Every thing about this tripod is solid. The only way to secure this to equipment is with the sliding 5/8"-11 male thread. I was able to get a tap at my local Ace hardware. If that is not what your devise requires you will need an adapter. The screw is secured though a slot plate, has large slot grip knob, and a plumb bob hook centered in the bottom of the knob. There are no adapters, cases, know. plumb bob included with the tripod. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

This tripod is a game changer for using my laser level. Works great and is good quality. I like how light it is but is sturdy and does not wobble. My only regret is not buying it sooner as it arrived after my kitchen renovation (my fault).

Valued for money.

Incredibly sturdy. I've taken off the carrying strap as it makes clamping one of the legs very awkward.

Malzeme kalitesi tatmin edici seviyede. Kullanacağım alan telefon veya gopro bağlayarak time laps vs. gibi çekimlerde kullanmak..

Overall, quite a sturdy unit, with the choice of using spikes on the tripod legs. Good value for what it provides. Having used several camera tripods, I expected more from this unit. There is only the adjustment for height - and even then, there is no mechanism to lock the splay of the tripod legs. The height crank was plastic and if the tripod accidentally falls on this crank, I think the crank would crack. Also, the mount uses a 5/8" screw, not a camera screw of 1/4". Inexpensive adapters are easily available, though.
