Excellent book great images and history
I am a miniature wargamer and I needed some source material for modern day russian vehicles

A compact delight
A compact delight, and the best concise reference for this period that I've been able to find after much searching. It's just a shame that it wasn't larger in size, I'd have happily paid more for that.

EXCELLENT
This awesome little hard-back book arrived next day and in pristine new condition, i Love Russian Armour (in this case modern) and if You do to then treat Yourself to this, it has all the favourites including the BTR's, BMP's and all the Modern T-model tanks from the T 64 to the T 72, 80 and 90's and the monstrous T 14 Armata, there are many photos and colour plates of the different types and their schemes from regular Russian Federation markings and camouflage to old school Soviet Guards Units so its ideal for modellers on the subject also

Informed review of current and recent Russian AFVs
I was looking for an informative review of the extraordinary range of current Russian armoured vehicles and this met my need perfectly. Yes, the paintings are not very exciting and the photos are somewhat small, but there again this is a small format book

Image quality could be better.
Not bad for the price, but a little on the basic side. It provides a decent broad overview of each vehicle but doesn’t really dial down into the individual variants quite as much as I was expecting.e.g. the entry for the T-72 - a tank with literally dozens of different variants - only has 5 images total, of 3 different models (2x T-72A, 1x T-72 Ural, 2x T-72B). Also, the quality of the illustrations is mediocre. They are generally all too dark, and are not as detailed as those found in some of the publisher’s other similar titles (e.g. ‘The Essential Vehicle Identification Guide’ series)

This is a good well detailed book, Brilliant.
This book tells you what you need to know about Russian tanks.
