This cream really works! I don't generally have sensitive skin but every now and then I will overdo it with the actives or exfoliation, especially when i'm trying new products and my skin will get reactive. It turns bright red really fast, feels hot to the touch, and sometimes even slightly burns. Even though this has happened before I always find myself scrambling to figure out what to put on it as even some "soothing" products make the burn worse. This cream is exactly what I needed! It works so well to calm the redness and irritation down fast without leading to more irritation. It sinks in quickly, has no offensive fragrance or heavy/ oily finish, and feels so great.The only problem, and the biggest issue, is the bottle is so small! Especially considering the price point, it simply won't last that long. Hopefully I won't need it often, but I do wish there was more product. Otherwise I love it!

So this comes out looking thick and goopy and you may initially be alarmed thinking you bought a tube of your grandmother's cold cream. It does absorb though and does not leave a gross film on your skin.I recently had tested some products that left my skin really irritated and blotchy looking and this went on for a few days. This one was bumped up in the test queue, and boy was I glad- it calmed my skin back down. Contains caffeine to boost circulation and 6% polyhydroxy acid (PHA) so there's some nice gentle refining action going on too. I love that this is an oil free product. I have acne prone skin and my face skin discoloration mostly is due to acne treatment that causes patches from different face products and sun exposures, acne scars etc. At this point I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now, sometimes twice a day, sometimes just once. Even though I do not feel a cooling effect from this product, I do see improvement in my evening skin tone, especially when I use product at night time. Usually in the morning my face looks more relaxed and stress free. I feel like it is de-stressing my skin after all my acne medications and environmental stress. I have to mention that I also use NEOSTRATA Illuminating Serum Tone Correcting Concentrate, and I think these 2 products together really make a difference on my skin color/tone. I am satisfied with this product and planning to use it up.

This face cream is nice compared to some that I have used in the past it has a thick white pasty texture. Even though it feels a little thick at first it actually absorbed well into my skin and felt really light weight. It left my skin feeling so soft and silky. I love how it’s an oil free product so you don’t feel slimy after applying. I have sensitive skin and this worked really well on it. It seemed to help with some of my redness. To me it didn’t seem to have a scent so that was nice because sometimes scents can have perfumes added in causing more irritation to occur. I would recommend this to people with sensitive skin that have issues with redness it seems to really work!🏻

Another reviewer here commented that they "had to apply it twice, as the first time it clumped up and peeled off". I had no such experience. In fact, this serum actually makes my very short list of effective serums, as most serums I've tried don't seem to do anything, adding an unnecessary skincare step as well as unnecessary cost to one's daily regimen. After trying dozens of different serum products, I've mentioned in my other serum reviews that I've come to the conclusion that Averr Aglow Forever Radiant Essential Renewing Serum is the only serum that consistently works for me, regardless of the toner and cream permutations with which I've tried it, but I'm adding this Neostrata serum to my shortlist. Averr Aglow is significantly better, but it is also currently offered at roughly 123% the cost of Neostrata. A less expensive serum I've found to be actually more effective than Neostrata is DS Laboratories Advanced Antioxidant Brightening + Restoring serum, which also comes at a 20% discount.
