Rugby World Cup 2011 (PS3)

Okay here's the thing HB studios who made this game(that's right it's not EA games) haven't got rights for new zealand rugby therefore all the names and even probably key features like Carter's super kicking ability or Mccaw's rucking skills take a huge hit. But you get almost all the teams that's known in rugby world, Still they rank New Zealand as rank one though. I was a bit disappointed by this as I'm a huge New Zealand fan. There's nothing wrong with the seller nor Amazon. The seller in fact is awesome I got the disc way before the day it was suppose to arrive

My son found this game online and really wanted it... We were kind of skeptical because it was coming from out of the United States. We weren't sure if he'd be able to play it on his PS3 but he received it and it plays and he loves it.

There are no club,s teams like Munster, stade francais, or any club or any other league. I don't understand how 4 years later the made a game only with country teams.

bought this for my son who plays rugby, he is having a blast with the game. Only concern was that when we bought it we didn't realize it was coming from a Canadian company and being shipped via Canadian Post. Item arrived on Christmas eve, just in time...

Rugby World Cup 2011 left a lot to be desired. The last rugby game i purchased was Rugby 08 for PC (which i still play to this day) i recently acquired a PS3 and figured i would give RWC 2011 a try. From the very start i was disappointed to see many of the best features of Rugby 08 were not included in this version. For one, there are no club teams to mix it up. I am a huge ulster fan and barely played the world cup feature after the 2007 world cup, instead pushing for the Heineken cup in the european competition (clubs). This was no where to be found in RWC 2011. Had i known this, i would not have purchased this game. i do not think i will play this game that much due to this, and will instead keep playing Rugby 08 on my PC. Also notes of contention include: no creation zone to create players, no historal challenges like in rugby 08, and no training camp to learn the controls. All in all, after playing Rugby 08, my feeling is "really? this is it?" This game is a half effort, made last minute, and falls far short of the mark.

Rugby World Cup is a hit in the Rugby house on campus. It was a bit tricky to learn at first because it moves so quickly,like the real game. I am having a blast and it shipped quickly.

Gift for grandson. He loves the game, only game he has played in two days.
