Trainer Pool Tube Color: Blue

We purchased this for our almost three-year-old son, and he isn't big for his age, he is 34 lbs. We have an above-ground pool and he is our little "water baby". Last year, he had a different style suit similar to this, but this year, that suit is far too small and too tight for him (even though it is SUPPOSED to be for kids up to four-years-old). So, we looked here on-line and found this similar suit, but it seemed liked the child in the picture was bigger so we bought it hoping we'd like it. We do. The suit is stretchier and easier to fit our son. I still say, he may not be able to wear it next year, not sure. I wouldn't purchase this for a child over 40 lbs, that's just my opinion. Over 45 lbs, and I'd guess it would be impossible to wear this suit. Anyway, my child loves the independance of swimming and bobbing around on his own, and the ring makes me feel like he is "up out of the water" a bit higher than he would be with many other swim products available. Of course, I always need to stress that this is not a drowning prevention product and never leave your child even for a minute alone in the water. My child has never flipped or harmed himself in this suit, but IF this were to manage to flip over somehow, there is no way I can see that he could "right" himself. My son is very much a free-spirit and he just loves being able to move around in the pool with this product. He is so cute wearing it. My only negatives for this product are: It probably can't fit kids that are much older or bigger than my little boy, and it has a strap between the legs. The strap is loose and flexible, and it is material, not an actual "strap", but it kind of annoys me. It doesn't bother him, or it doesn't seem to, and the bonus of the thinner strap is it makes the suit easier overall to put it on and take it off, compared to the product we had last year with shorts built in.

I'm giving a 3 stars because of the size. It is too small and too short. I bought this for my son's 5th birthday...It was a pool party birthday and unfortunately my son couldn't enjoy the pool with his friends. Anyway I'm keeping it because I just had a baby and he'll use it later on.

Perfect, not cheap quality it is sturdy and she can go anywhere she wants! And she can use it from now (14 months) thru at least age 3. If your child spends anytime in the water it is a must have!

We bought one of these tubes 28 years ago, and all 3 of our children learned to swim with it. It was the greatest tool we found to allow them to feel safe and confident while swimming. Of course we were always right next to them, but you don't have someone clinging to you all the time! The one we had 28 years ago did not have the strap thru the crotch, but it didn't make a difference, even with the strap you would want to be right next to them if something happened. They stay floating upright, which doesn't happen with some of the swim options out there. This is a great product, I would reccomend it to anyone!

This product has been amazing for my 3-year-old. He doesn't swim yet, but it has allowed him to get comfortable with the water and explore on his own while our family is in the pool.

The swimmy tube works fine as long as you have it inflated enough. The problem we had was my grandson is a daredevil and didn't want to wear it and it was a little difficult to put on. It does what it was designed to do.

I bought this for my granddaughter. She is three and one-half. I tried other learn to swim products that Lana wasn't comfortable with so wouldn't let go of her mopther or me. I put swim-tube on her & she took off by herself in the water. She now lets us put her under the water briefly and then we swim away and Lana is fine with it. I love to watch her in the swim-tube & it's the best thing I've ever bought!

I like this product. The only thing is I am not particularly fond of the strap that goes between the legs. Other than that the product is good.
