Automatic Men's Promaster Diver Watch

The watch itself is lovely, and looks even better in the metal than in pics. It also wears smaller than I expected on my fairly skinny wrist. The quality feels sturdy, with a nice movement on the bezel and no backplay. Despite the specs (and the watch face) saying otherwise this shipped to me with the upgraded Miyota 8204 movement which has hacking. The lume is a lovely two-tone with blue on the face and green on the bezel pop, however the lume is not as bright or long lasting as my Seiko turtle, but still enough to be legible some hours after dark. The only real disappointment here is the bracelet, which is very cheap feeling- although quite comfortable to be fair. The bracelet is a little too light, and rattles on the wrist. Also after removing some links from mine one of the inner ‘pin’ pieces would no longer fit flush inside the link which I needed to retain. However being 20mm a suitable replacement bracelet will not be hard to find and for the price of this watch here, especially compared to high street prices, should not put you off at all. For an ISO certified dive watch, with a metal bracelet and an automatic movement, you really can’t find better for the price.

I like that it looks much better than the pictures. Accuracy is +5 seconds a day so far so pretty much good. May improve. It is a 42mm case diameter so slightly larger than advertised but the crown position compensates for that in my opinion. Overall good size though. Comfortable enough to wear every day. Luminosity isn't as good as Seiko diver's (for example) but good enough as the time is visible in low light. I wouldn't swim with a watch personally so can't vouch for water resistance. Glad I bought this and would buy again if need be.

I've never owned a citizen watch before and have always been a bit of a seiko fan boy. I really liked the look and price of this though so thought I'd see for myself. To say I'm in love is an understatement. I have a seiko skx and a seiko 'captain willard' reissue but this is stealing all the wrist time at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is better than the skx but truthfully, although it pains me to say it because of the price difference, I think it is. I certainly much prefer the bezel edge to that of the skx and the applied indices on the dial are stunning. I'd buy another citizen watch all day long. It's this and the captain willard for me right now until the next gorgeous dive watch comes along

The watch wasn't as big than I expected, I'd heard it was a compact diver from other reviews, but it wears smaller on the wrist than I expected. This was good as I have slimmer wrists, around 6.5 - 6.75 inches. Build quality is good, on mine the bezel lines up perfectly and has no loose play. The finish is good. As others have said, the bracelet is awful, I've put it on a Nato strap till I get something better. Accuracy is pretty good for an automatic with this movement and price, mine arrived gaining around 8 - 10 seconds per day. Edit -- I got the watch regulated (most watch repair shops can do it) after having mine done it's gone from gaining 8-10 seconds a day to +/- .5 seconds which evens out at 0 seconds. It's only been a few days but now it's performing very accurately. I registered it for the extra years guarantee on the Citizen UK website and the process was easy and quick. The watch is what I expected for the price, I've no real complaints, it's well made, I like the look and so far the only negative is the bracelet it comes on (especially if you have hairy arms.) Mine came with the 8204 hackable movement.

My watch was delivered 1 day early than expected and had to travel from Italy or Germany and was delivered in perfect condition to my home. Thank you to all that made this happen.

This bracelet is nothing like other Citizen watch bracelets that I own. It's feels like it's made from a very low quality steel. It rattles, shakes, and doesn't lay nicely when the watch is off. Great looking movement and watch, but the bracelet is awful. Will be putting it on a NATO permanently.

Best diver style watch out there. This is my second. New movement is superior to the last. Very happy.

It's a great watch if there is no misalignment of the chapter ring. I spotted the problem immediately when I opened the box and in the next hour the watch was sent back to Amazon for refund.

Envio rápido, embalaje correcto. El reloj, impresionante. Corona roscada, remonte manual posible, bisel unidireccional muy robusto y funcional. Tengo varios Seiko 5, de precio parecido que carecen de todo esto. Buena compra sin duda.

This is an amazing little tool watch and probably provides the best value for money in late 2021. - It is a well known brand with good quality, it has decades of proven history and tested by the military (Italian), now it is the updated version (new color designs and movement - depending on which version you get) - Personally I love the design, it is very comfortable, sits nicely on the wrist, not too tall. It is quite light without the metal bracelet and goes well together with any band type / color - Crown does not protrude / does not dig into the wrist - Packaging was OK, nothing special, just a paper box Mine says movement 8203 on the dial but there was a label in the box that it is in fact the Myota 8204 inside which is also upgraded with hacking -> nice bonus which I did not know when ordering! All the more value for the money! Lume is great, I can see the time on the dial when I first wake up at 6:00 AM and it is still dark outside. It has blueish color. Bezel is perfect, has a nice feel to it. I don't mind that it is only 60 clicks. The bracelet is nearly impossible to size at home - I am still struggling with it and I am not sure if I will be able to do it without permanently damaging it - probably need to take it to shop. But I am not sure if I will use it anyway :) Based on the first days the watch seems accurate but I can not judge this yet. All in all - this watch is great for everyday use. I don't dive with it - just love the sporty elegant style.
