I collect vintage and antique books, which are all hardback and extremely heavy. Our bookcase tried its best, but the existing supports not only fell out, but also carved into the wood making the holes unusable. Fortunately there’s other holes, so I searched for supports that were designed to hold a high weight and bought these. When they arrived, they seemed very small, in terms of the bit the shelf rests on. I wasn’t convinced they would work. They did work and are carrying a lot of very heavy books. They’ve held for a couple of weeks or so and this means I don’t need a new bookcase. Great value too.

These shelf supports are perfect, I ordered them for a cabinet where I keep hardback books, I replaced the supports that came with cabinet as the shelf kept collapsing, because supports kept popping out, when I read description for these supports they sounded like they would do the job perfectly and they do, four supports used, needed to make sure they are pushed in securely, as the previous supports had distorted the holes, so were slightly too large, I now have a very secure supported shelf.

THE SIZE DIDN'T FIT, IT WAS INADEQUATE FOR ITS SIZE WAS TOO SMALL AND KEPT FALLING OFF THE SHELVES. NOW COMES THE TROUBLE: VALUE OF ORDER WAS 2.99 but amazon/seller INSISTED ON PAYING FOR RETURNING WHICH SUM IS GREATER THAN PURCHASE. CONCLUSION: CATCH 22 FROM amazon TO RESOLVE DIRECTLY IN REGARD TO THE CLIENT'S SUPPORTING BUYING PRODUCTS .

Not yet used, as they are for extra shelves in new house. I’ve tried them on existing cupboards and they fit perfectly. Easy to push in to pre drilled holes. Only given 4 stars as strength can’t be tested until we put shelves in them.

These are small but seem strong enough to hold up our wardrobe shelves. Good value.
