Good product. Eager customer service.
For the person trying to take charge of their sleep apnea treatment, this product works well enough. I use it to experiment with various pressures and masks to find the absolute best pressure for my bipap.I will say the app is simple... a bit too simple. I would like an ability to see a more detailed view of a section of time. Perhaps an hour to hour feature. Although how it functions now is good enough. Jagged moments in time instead of smooth lines is bad. Simple enough.I have a feeling the oximeter is probably off by a bit but it doesn't matter due to the device registering 4% drops in O2 as an event. So regardless of your start point and endpoint in O2 the device catches it which is all that matters when your experimenting. That and sky high heart rates which are recorded side by side are easy enough to recognize as an event as well. The nice thing though is the vibration. It's very strong and works well to alert you if your mask seal is bad at a time during the night due to your O2 dropping below a selectable threshold. Or at least that's how it's been working for me.Can't testify to the durability though. Amazon offered a warranty so I snagged it considering I plan on using this nightly. It's pricey and for what it is it feels expensive at nearly $200. I would like to see this somewhere around $120. Regardless, I would buy it again because it works perfectly for monitoring the effectiveness of your therapy and is monumentally cheaper than sleep studies to find your titration levels.Edit: I have since discovered that this uses what I believe to be a proprietary port for the device. Although should the charge cable or finger cable fail the company seems genuinely eager to help. They care for their customer base and do not delay sending out replacement parts if needed.I have updated my review to 4 stars for this reason. If you care about your sleep and prioritize taking charge of it. Buy this product.

Game changer for a husband just released from ICU
My husband was just discharged from the ICU following a sudden and life threatening hypoxic incident. Thankfully I found him in time, but we were so lucky. We are awaiting further tests and a sleep study until he can be prescribed o2 and a CPAP for home use. I’ve been so terrified of a repeat incident that I’ve been spot-checking his o2 every 30 minutes around the clock and forcing myself to stay awake because I thought we had no other option. I found this device while forcing myself to lay awake in bed last night, and it arrived today. This monitor is a game changer. The vibration threshold is adjustable (I have it set at 93%), and the strength of the vibration is adjustable as well. The vibration continues until the o2 level comes up above the set threshold so there is minimal chance of not waking up. I have the app on my phone so I can just glance at my phone to check his sats without having to wake him up to look at his monitor. While we still need to continue medical treatment, this device is going to allow us both to get some much needed rest and peace of mind. I highly recommend this device to anyone who is concerned about their spo2 levels during sleep and needs an at-home, non-prescription option for monitoring and alerting. You can also easily view your trends when you upload the data from the device onto the app, and you can print it out and share with your physician.

Great tracking, customer service, and product.
The ViATOM has been great for me in finding out what positions and sleep number are best for me. I had a test given by the APN with a high dollar machine and the ViATOM matched up with the results the medical machine gave. The ViATOM is very useful in showing how long you slept and the quality of sleep. One thing I really, really like is the ring sensor that slides over your finger instead of a sensor that is on the tip of your finger. It the several months I have had it, the ring has only slipped off a couple times, with no fault to the ring, but my sleeping position. The ViATOM has a programmable oxygen sensor that will alert you when your oxygen level falls below a certain percent. I have mine set high at 92% instead of the lower factory setting. My vibration is set on high and it definitely gets my attention so I can change my position. All in all, this is a great product. While you may think it is "expensive", it matched the results of the thousand dollar machine assigned by the APN for the night. I thought ~$200 was too much, also, until I started getting a good sleep because of the ViATOM's measurements. It's worth it to me...
