Tired of buying disposable coffee filters?! I know I sure was! This filter works great and is very easy to clean when you're ready to brew that next pot of hot coffee! We have a standard coffee maker and it fits perfectly.

Somewhat small for full brew capacity but easy cleanup and eco friendly. Very good filtration and holds up well under constant use.

This filter is so neatly designed, beautifully assembled, and holds even the finest grounds from getting into the pot. It is so easily cleaned (by hand; can’t comment on dishwasher cleaning) that it looks brand new after a week of use. The pieces of stainless filter are spot-welded very well, but I would recommend treating it gently, as the spots are tiny. There is a photo of one that failed in another review, and that was my biggest fear when I opened the package, that it could happen. If it does fail, I’ll write another review. If it lasts a long time, I’ll update you. The packaging is genius: two plastic cups that snap together with the filter inside, and then taped so as to stay together in shipment. I bought two, and one is still in the package. If it looks like it won’t fail, I’ll consider gifting the second. Today’s photo (4/29): on the left is the filter after 108 days (one pot per day), on the right is my brand new spare. I guess someday I may need to retire the first filter, but for now I’m still very happy. Daily washing is enough, but still coffee oils stick to the stainless. When it looks a bit dark, wipe with isopropyl alcohol and the coffee stains are gone. If coffee grounds do get stuck in the tiny holes, a brush with short fine bristles will clean it perfectly. (Treat it nicely and it’ll hold up well, I’m sure!)

I just bought a new Mr. Coffee and didn't want to stock paper filters for it. Nor add them to the landfill! So I shopped for a reusable filter. In the past I've owned a number of the gold-colored filters, and the gold wears off after a while--and then is it still save to use? This one offered stainless steel, so it would be dishwasher-safe, and should last a long time. No plating to wear off. Today it arrived and I tested it right away in the Mr. Coffee. First, it's sturdy, so I don't think it'll get damaged in normal use. The filter holes are quite small--smaller than on the gold-tone filters--so it does a better job of keeping sludge out of your coffee. At first glance, it looks like solid stainless steel, but when you hold it up to the light you can see the tiny holes. With these tiny holes, would it drain fast enough to keep up with the flow of hot water in the Mr. Coffee? Not to worry. It kept up with the flow just fine, and brewed an excellent pot of coffee, with plenty of flavor. Afterward, it cleaned up very easily and now it's been put away, resting inside the Mr. Coffee, ready for the next time I want to make coffee. I recommend this permanent filter, much prefer stainless steel to "gold tone", whatever that is.

The first one that arrived was damaged but they immediately fixed it by sending a new one so super fast! This filter has been great and I can actually feel good about using this since it's stainless steel and not a bunch of plastic! The price point is great, it's easy to use and it fits perfect with my coffee maker!

Después de 2 semanas de espera, me llega un producto que no corresponde con el de la foto. No tiene guía medidora, el asa de sujeción está colocada de otra forma y no parece tan bien acabado como en la imagen. Espero que por lo menos el acero inoxidable sea de calidad, porque hace su función y no me voy a meter en devoluciones y demás jaleos, pero desde luego la fotografía da lugar a engaño y es de vergüenza teniendo el precio que tiene. Ya está bien que pongan imágenes que no correspondan al producto, haciendo perder el tiempo y la confianza a los clientes. Espero que Amazon sea consciente.

Purchased as a replacement for Ninja Coffee Bar filter no longer available in UK. Like that it’s robust, hopefully will outlast original! Not quite the perfect fit but works as hoped for!
