Rusted within a few months
Was not stainless steel. The surface peeled off and rusted qquickly. Would not purchase again

Not as advertised
It will work as a replacement piece for my wind chimes, but it is silver in color, not gold color as advertised.

Met all expectations
I used this ball as a type of paperweight in a custom piece of furniture. I epoxied a thin, SS cable through the hole to attach it. The finish of the ball is fairly good - fairly smooth and round. The hole is nicely drilled & centered, and has no burrs. It has a bit of a "hammered" look - there are minor blemishes that would prevent me from describing it as "mirrored" or "perfectly polished". That said, the look totally met my needs, and seems to hide fingerprints better than a perfect polish.Time will tell about rust, but so far, met all expectations!
