Great Amp Meter for a Nice price!
This is a very nice meter for a very nice low price. I am satisfied with it I hope it will last a very long time. I am reviewing the 266. I think the page has changed since I made my purchase in 2009. As of today August 7, 2014 it is still working very well. Had to update/edit my review as this doesn't look like the same description page I bought from 5 years ago.

Cheap but clamp doesn't work
I just needed a multimeter and this will do (replaced one with leads only). I've tried the clamp meter (yes I know you need to only test the hot wire) and it doesn't work. So bascially that's just a belt buckle. Anyway, the multimeter works and that's why I got it. You can't beat the price so that's great but again, clamp didn't work at all.

it doesn't work
The clamp meter function doesn't really work on either AC or DC, the multimeter functions do work, but with less accuracy than one of my other cheap multimeter.

a little diaspointed
The price is good. Meter and probes feel cheap. I'm a automotive tech and the amp clamp does not read DC amps which limits its use for me. For the price, and the fact I did not do my homework well, I'll still give it 4 stars. I guess I'll face the reality, its scope time.

An inexpensive clamp meter
This is an inexpensive clamp meter - the one I am reviewing is the Cen-Tech 66897 which has identical specifications. This clamp meter is distributed by many companies under different names with identical features. For most people except professionals this is an easy-to-use and accurate meter. If you are professional you will have your Fluke meter calibrated every year to make sure it is accurate. You can also calibrate this clamp meter but to do so would cost you more than to just purchase a new one. I find it to be completely accurate and reliable and it is reasonably well-made. I have seen it on sale for less than half.

This product is falsely labeled, it doesn't have DC current measuring!! I would not buy it again.
