Reliable WiFi Upgrade
I've been having internet reliability issues with my current PC that has a built in wireless card. This didn't used to be a problem but has turned into one. After testing my latency and packet loss, I deemed it unacceptable so I needed to find another solution. The TP-Link WiFi 6E is probably one of the best bang for the buck USB wifi adapters. The strength of the WiFi connection is much better. I ran an internet stability test for a couple hours and it came back much improved. I think this is a great option for those looking to improve their WiFi connection and speed.

Doubled download speed with extension (screenshot attached)
I rent a room. Desktop is Windows 10. Adapter worked automatically/drivers auto-installed: attempt to download tp link software per instructions resulted in BSOD. I bought this along with an extension to place the adapter on my standing desk. Works perfectly. More than doubled the speed and am having no issues. I recommend this as a low cost way to try and improve your internet connect while on a budget. I can see this being good to have while travelling too: I don't see any reason why this could not be plugged into a laptop as well.I don't know how much of the speed boost is due to also using an extension and extending the adapter all the way up, but either way I'm happy with the results and wanted to save time by just purchasing and using both at once.

Review of the TP-Link WiFi 6E USB Adapter for Desktop PC - (Archer TXE50UH)
I bought this TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH) to replace a CUDY WU1300 AC 1300Mbps WiFi USB Adapter (also from Amazon) because the CUDY Wifi Adapter's performance has degraded since I originally bought it in January 28, 2023. Now I have very fast Internet response time using this TP-Link Wifi USB Adapter connected to my very fast Lenovo P620 workstation. I shutdown the workstation first, then removed the old CUDY WIFI USB Adapter, launched again Windows 10, followed the setup instructions provided by the manufacturer to install the TP-Link software using the supplied CD containing the TP-Link USB software driver. The TP-Link Software Driver is installed and controlled by the standard Windows 10 Program Installation (shown in the second uploaded image) and therefore the driver can be upgraded in the future because the TP-Link software sub-directory is located in the C:\ hard disk drive (third image). My original CUDY Wifi Adapter when installed in Windows 10 has no indication of where the drivers are located in the PC and there is NO way for me to install a newer version of the CUDY Wifi driver. The CUDY Wifi Adapter is NO longer sold by Amazon.Update 01/30/2025 - I changed the number of stars of this TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH) from 5to 2 stars because I am experiencing internet disconnections randomly during the day and most disconnectionslate at night (11:00PM-12:00 midnight when I am using a fast Lenovo P620 workstation). My home internet serviceprovider is Verizon FIOS so there is NO reason for any disconnection as web traffic from many users go through the optical cable network of Verizon FIOS. I still have the internet disconnection problems even if I updated the softwaredriver of the TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter. I never had this disconnection problems at all using the new TECHKEYDual Antenna WiFi 6E USB Adapter that replaced the TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH).Update 02/25/2025 - I re-connected this TP-Link WiFi USB Adapter (Archer TXE50UH) to replace the failing Techkey AXE5400 Mbps Dual 5Dbi High Gain Antennas WiFi 6E Wireless adapter and re-installed its latest software driver. I did compare my latest software download with the last download I made last January 2025 and there was no change at all. When the TP-Link Wifi Adapter started working, I stayed up to the morning of 02/27/2025 to test if there would again be any disconnection problem and I had no disconnection problems at all. Therefore, I am changing my reviewof this TP-Link (Archer TXE50UH) WiFi 6E USB Adapter to 5-stars.

Works as advertised but not out-of-box on Ubuntu-based Linux (6.11.0 kernel for me)
Works well on Windows but on Linux I had to install an additional kernel patch from Github which I don't think was from an official manufacturer source. Probably best for Windows laptops that want extra-high-range WiFi 5 connectivity. I think built-in Linux support may be coming for newer kernels.

Holy guacamole…
My Surface Book 2 has an awful WiFi chip. We have fiber internet, but I only squeak out 6 mb/s out of the built in WiFi. Utilizing the TP-Link straight out of the box without downloading drivers or updates, it jumps to 104 mb/s. 16x the speed! I was about to replace my laptop, but I don’t have to.(I did 3 tests with and without the TP-Link, and the numbers are the average - w/o 9.4, 3.1, 5.4 and with 111.1, 75.07, 127.03)

Old PC, New Tricks
My laptop died so In a pinch I had to reuse an old Tower PC i had sitting in the garage. This thing did not have an internal wifi adapater. I didn't even notice there was a problem until I had it set up. I should have known better the PC was 18 years old. Anyway I ordered this antenna and was online in 5 minutes. No issues at all. Exactly what I needed in a pinch. Good quality prices.

Very Fast!
I bought this because the Starlink router that we have uses WiFi 6 technology. My connection with this is faster than the power line networking with TP Link devices that I was using. I am very pleased with this device.
