AWesome!
This is a simple machine that looks like a toy or that is for kids. I had my doubts and was worried at first but was pleasantly surprised and enjoy using it. Works well and I made lovely raspberry yogurt ice cream that was delicious and healthy! So happy that I didn't have to spend an unreasonable amount on a larger ice cream professional machine. Gets the job done and is super cute!

Easy and fun ice cream just enough for 3 people
I've had this ice cream maker for about 2 months and I've used it 5 times so I can't review the durability of the machine just yet. The ice cream I've made with it, though, is perfect. I've only made vanilla and chocolate, with my own recipes so far. I admit it took 2 tries to get the chocolate just as I wanted it. If I have trouble with making another flavor I'll update the review. The machine may seem like a toy, but it makes seriously good, creamy ice cream using the custard method. It actually freezes the custard in about 10-15 minutes, in my hands, to a lovely consistency that is more firm than soft-serve and less firm than grocery store products. I stuck some leftovers in the freezer and it did freeze into quite a hard ice cream so I need to investigate ways to help it stay softer in the freezer. I believe adding a liquor may help. The thing is that the size I bought (medium, blue = just over 1 1/2 cups total) makes just enough for 3 people or hefty servings for 2 people so left overs are not that big an issue. It is necessary to follow the suggested total volume amounts for the milk/cream and carefully divide evenly between the frozen cups because too much custard in a cup will crawl up the sides and make a mess during the freezing.I dislike being wasteful so I hope the thing lasts a good long while. As far as the price-if I get another 4 runs out of it, it will compare to buying 7 pints of premium ice cream which, frankly doesn't even compare with quality and flavor of the home made stuff I've been getting from this machine.

Ice Cream Never Set Up
I froze the containers for 24 hours, used a tried-and-true cold ice cream recipe (heavy cream, half and half, sugar), and the ice cream never set up. I checked it after 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, and 40 minutes. At about 20 minutes, I thought something was going to happen as it was slightly thicker than liquid and the strawberries were becoming frozen. However, it just went to liquid from there, and the outside of the containers started to sweat. We finally put the containers in the freezer to freeze it that way. There were several things I didn't like about the design as well. Ingredients can be fed from the top, but the top is the motor portion and can't be immersed in water to be cleaned. There's a chute that can be removed to be cleaned from the top, but it's ridiculous to think that the ingredients are going to stay confined to the chute. Also, there's no lid to put on the ice cream once it's done. Who eats 2 pints of ice cream at once?I'm returning this since it doesn't work as an ice cream maker ...which is what I bought it to be.

It's OK, but I wish I had just ordered a standard ice cream maker
This is fine for a simple little frozen treat for 1-2 people. But given the cons I reference below, I kinda wish I would have just spent a little bit more and ordered a normal sized ice cream maker.Pros: it's pretty quick, 15ish minutes after adding ingredients. Very simple and intuitive to set up. Easy to clean. Did work out of the box. You can make 2 separate flavors by adding different mixers to the 2 sides. The cups are made to be eaten from, which helps keep it cold, but there are only 2.Cons: it's a very small quantity that you can make (instructions say 11.5 Tbsp in volume, which is just under 3/4 cup). A standard scoop is about a half cup, so this is like one generous scoop that you'd get at a good scoop shop. If you're cool with that size, two people could have a nice little snack. If you have kids or a bigger family, it's going to be a bit of a disappointment if everyone is used to getting two scoops.Secondly, it doesn't seem to like chunky ingredients. The plastic paddle and the very constrained size seem to be the issue, so if you were hoping for adding chunks or candies, this is probably not the best for getting too creative with mix-ins (unless you transfer to a different bowl and manually stir. The freeze cups must be frozen upright and not tilted, and for at least 24 hours (but it said no more than 72), so be sure you have freezer space, and you have to plan ahead, and can't just leave the cups in the freezer until you feel like using it.

Very good at a very good price!
I follow a low carb diet which means I can’t have store bought ice cream as they’re all laden with sugars and carbs. So I decided to make my own ice cream. My first go at it was a total success. I made a strawberry ripple vanilla ice cream and it came out amazing and only under 25 mins! Good buy and would definitely be making other recipes in the future!

This is a fantastic Icecream maker
It arrived before the stated date and was very well packed. After washing the bowl ect. I put it straight into the freezer. Next day I made some delicious Icecream with fresh Mango and Yoghurt. Happy days ahead. Thank you for a great little machine that is very reasonably priced.

works okay
I like that I can make 2 different flavors..one for me and other for my husband...thou...it takes about 25 mins. to make...but worth it....I freeze them standing up in the freezer...and when I make ice cream...it seems the bottom of them make the ice cream harder and the top is more like soft serve...which is okay...but next time , im freezing them bottom up...so the liquid inside will freeze more at the top of the containers...and see if that does not help making the ice cream thicker thru out...but...all in all...nice little machine...for when you dont want to go to town to get ice cream

Lid comes off
I followed the directions exactly but lid would not stay down. Instructions address this issue by stating to press down on it for 1 to 2 minutes, which I did. Actually ended up pushing down for 15 minutes so lid wouldn't come off. Made a mess. Don't know how this item got high ratings but i smell a rat.
