The quality of this product is good, the colors are very realistic to the frogs we have in my home state of Oregon. The hooks are sharp and seem to be a good build. The only concern I have is with the size of this lure, it's much smaller than I expected. The description says 2.5-inch when in fact it barley hits the 1.5-inch mark (unless you pull the legs all the way tot)... Take a look at my photos for a better example.

I got a lot of bites on this, never got the hook set. When you look at it and push on the bait to expose the hooks, you see why. The portion of the bait in front of the hook points, that needs to be compressed to get a hookset, is very short and tapered. I think the only way to reliably get a good hookset is if the fish really swallows it and you set hard with a long rod with a lot of backbone.

Had a small frog I liked and noticed I must have lost my big frog so I ordered this, turns out it is the same small frog I already had. Looks awesome, I like legs rather than a skirt. Great frog but their 2.5 inches could only be with legs all the way out. This is a one inch frog, don't let the 2.5 inches fool you. Other than being very small, only dislike is it doesn't cast far and for using frogs you have to be far away.

Unfortunately, the colors are not consistent. Example with the poison frog black/ yellow pattern on one and black/ green pattern on a "matching" pair. Poor quality control.

This is much smaller than I thought it was going to be. It also doesn’t float, it dips beneath the water and needs to be pulled up. It is weedless and swims nicely with the legs that stretch out. For an average size bass the bigger size is better and this isn’t ideal in very weedy or scummy water.

Great lure! I'm an avid bass fisherman and have loved using this. The Pocket Frog is great for ponds and going after bass in the 1 - 2 lb range, though I've caught smaller and larger. They usually eat the lure. Terrific topwater fun and very weedless. If you're going after bigger bass, I'd recommend the Lunker Frog, which is same but the larger size.

Smaller than anticipated. Need to use a spinning reel with light line to work it well.

I love this brand , it's a little smaller than I thought but great colors and really looks real. The one I received the right leg is out of position but still works great .
