Slide and Discover: Dinosaur Atlas Hardcover – January 6, 2015

I love this book because of the maps comparing land forms today with land forms from millions of years ago. It's the only place I have seen this phenomenon depicted so graphically and tied so directly to the dinosaurs. Jen Green's books are incomparable and this is my favorite.My granddaughter loves the book on sea creatures which she received at age six and immediately took to school for show and tell.

Great books but the move able "slide" part can stick and if your child is not careful they tear and will not function anymore. This is my second one.

On the page 13 a picture of the 3 leaders : Britain, USA abd Russia???? Does the author know the history at all? By 1945 Russia was one of the 15 republics. Regardless how inconvenient is the history for some of the republics but Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union and not Russia (the Russian Federation) only. I'm returning this book back to the shop.
