Not that quiet.
I bought these for my daughter for sound control. While they do lower the overall decible level, they are still loud. I would get some with a larger tip.

I use these tips to protect the surfaces of my electronic kit. The problem with these ones is that they do not stay on very well. I am using 5As with nylon tips.
