Introducing Belle Rossie
I have been researching and wanting an adult trike for over four years! When I found this beauty online, I knew the wait had been well worth it! She is an absolute gem and I love her more and more every day! After pimping her out with an insulated cup holder, a snazzy front wicker basket and shimmery streamers...my girl is the envy of anyone who sees her! She has even inspired our group of friends to form a Booze'n & Cruise'n Club.I can tell you that she was not easy to put together...but I dropped her off at a local bike shop and an hour later she was ready to ride!!!The six-gears makes her the "Hot Rod" of trikes! Before I found my girl, I had only found three-speed trikes, and those were well over $800!I'm not sure I would choose Belle for a speed race or cross-country ride! But she is absolutely PERFECT for tooling around town and for a leisure ride!!I could not be happier with my purchase and am looking forward to years of fun showing her off!!

A JOY TO RIDE!
We did a LOT of research before deciding on this trike. I have been wanting to get back on wheels for a long time, but I knew I had to consider my limitations. First, I have balance issues, so three wheels was an absolute must. Second, I knew that if the trike was too difficult to pedal around, it would remain in the garage, so single speed wasn't for me. Third, I didn't want to RE-learn everything I already knew about biking. We looked at each and every review. The primary issue in most of the negative reviews was in assembly. My husband is the one who would be putting it together, and we were both confident in his skills, so we proceeded with the purchase. The estimated delivery was still several days away when the box arrived. To say I was excited would be a great understatement. When the box was opened, more excitement, the trike was even cuter than I had hoped. A baby pink, rather than the bright pink in the photo. Next was the assembly. Step by step, he put the trike together. I kept waiting for the roadblocks other people had encountered. Never found one. Final test was riding it. I love everything about this riding experience! I will say, if you don't have experience and skill set, take the box directly to a shop for assembly. Don't even open it. But total time was a little under 3 hours, from opening the box to fanny on seat. If you are ready for independence, this is a JOY!

with the easy steering, but once I got used to it
Today, I had my first ride on my new Komodo Trike. It was a bit skittish at first, with the easy steering, but once I gotused to it, I was pretty comfortable riding it.I am 6' 4", and find the seat needs to be as high as possible in order topress the pedals comfortably. I wish there were a way to move the seat rearward a couple of inches for better pedalling. The trike arrived quickly after I ordered it, and the packaging was very good - lots of bubble wrap!I assembled it myself, and found the instructions skimpy but adequate. You need to carefully follow step by step, because some things that need installing or adjusting get covered up in the process of assembly, and are that much harderto adjust or tighten then. You will need metric wrenches and allen keys, and a chain tool for shortening the secondary.Adjusting the brakes and the Shimano shifter was pretty straight forward, but if you aren't very mechanical, better takethe kit to a bike shop for assembly.I'm very glad to have the trike, but wish the assembly were a bit easier.

Love it
I love my trike!Pros: very attractive. Easy to ride. Lots of compliments.Cons: after 2 days of trying to put this thing together we took it to a bike shop. The bike shop did a lovely job for $50 which was well worth my sanity.

Buyer beware!
I honestly don't know where to start on this fiasco. When the trike was delivered we were excited because this was the last thing we were waiting on. As soon as we opened th box however our excitement was gone. Poorly packaged/wrapped components stuffed in a small box for a 85% assembled trike. This thing is a kit, if you are not mechanically inclined or know someone who is do not buy this junk. Parts were bent, bolts lose in the box, bolts washers and nuts missing. Made a trip to lowes and purchased what we needed and put it together. The derailer never would run thru the gears properly. The frame is weak and flexes side to side with a 140 pound person on it. It also leans to the left constantly. Heavy doesn't equal heavy duty on this thing. Basket is complete junk! The rear axel assembly is horible it is not smooth at all we managed to put 8 miles on it and it wouldn't even coast on a long down hill grade. You have to bend the basket if you want it centered on the trike. I highly recommend you look at other options before buying this trike. You may purchase this trike and it work perfectly for you, but unfortunately for us we are stuck with a high dollar piece of junk that is not pleasurable to ride. We have purchased other bikes from amazon and the arrived in perfect condition, packaged with great care and all the parts worked perfectly. This trike is a ripoff end of story. The only positive to this trike is the pink looks good and the seat is soft. Sorry for the long rant just don't want to see anyone else taken advantage of.

Bestest Bike Ever
I love this bike or trike. Have ridden a bicycle all of my life but now am not so steady as I used to be. So, time for a trike. I was very reluctant to order one online without being able to try it out. What if I didn't like it or couldn't ride it, then what? The bike shops were very reluctant to help in any way. So, took the plunge and ordered it. It is a stinker to put together. Took four of us 3 hrs to figure it all out. But, it was worth it. It is smooth, easy to ride the gears are a wonderful addition. Put an American flag on it and away I went. One of the best bikes I've ever had. I just don't know why I waited so long. So, if you have any reservations about your ability to ride this bike, forget it. It's perfect. It's safe and your confidence with soar once again. However, be advised you may need help assembling it.P.S. Love the soft yellow color too.
