Great, budget-friendly cologne that has stood the test of time.
I've been using Aspen for over 25 years. Started back in high school when it was a product exclusively sold at Venture stores. I love the smell and it has gotten plenty of compliments over the years. With that said, you can't judge this cologne on reviews that say it smells good or doesn't smell good, because how good it smells is subjective. Everyone's different. There are very expensive colognes out there that I think stink.This 4 oz. bottle is very nice considering my most recent bottle was only 1.7 oz. As far as longevity, I don't think it's as bad as some of the reviews claim. One says they first smelled it on their UPS driver, so they bought some themselves. They claim it only lasts 5 minutes. If that were true, then that would mean their UPS driver sprayed it on right before knocking on their door. Doubtful. I used to buy expensive colognes in my younger days, ones that cost $50-$60 a bottle (that was high end stuff back in the 1990's) and some of those didn't last very long either. Colognes dissipate and mix with sweat and our body's natural oils, that's just how it goes. If you want it to last longer, reapply some later.For the price, Aspen has been an excellent cologne for me for over two decades and I'm glad it's still available.
