Outstanding!
This is my first read by Eileen Smith but it will not be the last! Her interpretation of Rahab 's life was interesting as well as note and I feel certain that anyone who reads it will come away satisfied.

Good story about Rahab
This is one of the better fictional stories I’ve read on Rahab. I have always wondered about her life and what it entailed before and after the fall of Jericho. This story actually seems like it could’ve happened. But since the Bible doesn’t tell us we won’t have answers to our questions this side of heaven. Some day we will meet this heroine of great faith and can find out for ourselves! Until then this was definitely an enjoyable read!

Five stars
I'll start by saying that I read this from a non-theological point of view. I was raised Christian in several different branches and felt like I had a pretty decent knowledge of the scriptures but ultimately left the church altogether. I read this as a work of fiction and also as a retelling of historical lore, the way I've read historical fiction of historic queens, princesses, and political leaders in general so I won't touch historical accuracy although I feel like the author did do a beautiful job piecing together the few bits we do know of Rahab to create this.It was beautiful. I couldn't put it down. It evoked such emotion from me and I felt so drawn to each and every character. At no time did I feel like any of them felt flat or like they blended with another character the way I sometimes do about side characters. This is definitely something I can see myself reading again and I look forward to reading her other works.

This is such a beautiful story of the power of God and his love for us regardless of what we have been thru. You won't be disappointed it's my new favorite.

Reagan's Story
Rehab is my favorite woman in the bible. Jill Smith did an outstanding job telling Rehab' story. I loved this book and plan to read books on other women of the bible like Rahab's daughter in law Ruth

A novel based on the faith of Rehab
Rahab, the prostitute of Jericho, protects the spies from Joshua and is saved from destruction for her act of faith. This love story suggests how she came to be in the lineage of King David and ultimately, in that of Jesus Christ. I enjoyed the book, especially how it emphasized that God's grace and forgiveness is a gift. It is accepted by faith and is demonstrated by our actions. It cannot be earned.

The inspiring story of Rahab
This is probably the fourth novel I have read about Rahab and the author’s interpretation vary enoGod rmously, some Disregarding her background as a prostitute, although scripture is very clear that she was. Jill is a wonderful storyteller and beautifully unfolds the love story between Rahab and God and Rahab and Salmon.Penny Callaghan

Plausible, fascinating account of Rahab’s story
Although there is not much written in the Bible about Rahab, Jill Eileen Smith has developed a beautiful history of the woman’s life.Weaving biblical tradition with narrative fiction has created a thoroughly plausible account telling how things might have been. Rahab walks through the pages of this novel with a dignity one cannot fail to admire.I found the book a really enjoyable read. It’s a truly heartwarming tale of courage, compassion, forgiveness and faith.Highly recommended.

Good from page one
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I learned so much about Jewish law at that time. The story flowed easily and although there is not much known about Rahab, because of this story I feel I have a better understanding of what she did for Israel, her family and for a God she did not know.I look forward to reading more from this author.

A fascinating perspective
I enjoyed reading this account of Rahab’s life, and even though it largely comes from the author’s imagination, it perfectly synchronises with what the Bible teaches. I particularly appreciated the portrayal of God’s love and grace as experienced by Rahab, and that is available to all of us by faith in Jesus Christ.

Rahman’s story
Yet again a ‘ too good to put down’ book! This story of Rahab mixes sadness, joy and God’s forgiveness!
