Pricey but it worked.
I have a 25 year old MTD Yard Machine. No special tools needed, easy to install (but a 2nd paid of hands are helpful during installation). Ship/delivery fast. Little pricey but it did fit.

I imagine it will break eventually like the old one did
It fit my old mower, but looking at how thin the ABS is, I imagine it will break eventually like the old one did. It's very expensive for a piece of plastic. I will say it was an exact fit though for a 25 year old Montgomery Ward signature 2000 mower.
