King British Swim Bladder Treatment - 100ml

Warning - you can't buy this in the US. Its source is Great Brittain and then there is a distributor somewhere outside of GB that sells it to us. It takes a WHILE to get here. I think your best bet would be to order it BEFORE your fish gets sick. Now, as for its efficacy - I was hopeful by the person who wrote about their betta having been afflicted with swimbladder (the floaty/sinky disease) and how it really helped their betta to recover. Mine has been floating for probably about 6 months now :(... And sadly, this stuff did not help him. So, I was "going to" leave a review to that effect. BUT! Then my other betta seemed to swell up from some.... I have no idea.... inferior food, overfeeding (again), literally no idea.... and I had this on hand. I did 1 dose and he "unswelled" and regained control over his "floatiness". So, now, I leave THIS review. I'm glad I had it on hand because I was pretty distraught when my second betta became bloaty and floaty. Just wish I had had this 6 months ago. Took weeks to arrive but well worth it. Don't give up on your fish because they are upside down floating or upside down stuck at the bottom of the tank. Pro Tip: keep these fish suffering with swim bladder in a Net at nighttime attached by a string to the external part of the tank magnet, so their dorsal fins don't get damaged. Feed every other day or every 2 days (instead of daily) only peeled mushed green peas and maybe 2 broken up freeze dried shrimps. This product is worth its weight Goldfish, pun intended. Prior to this I have never had an upside-down fish recover. Make sure your dosing is accurate by using a medicine cup (instead of the product cap). Highly, highly recommend if the fish is not yet circling the drain. Bubbles was still in good spirits while he was upside down.

We really have come to depend on this but it is always low in stock and takes forever to arrive. I wish the sellers could keep more in stock and get it here to the US faster.

I got this in hopes of curing my fancy goldfish of swim bladder problems. I used it one time and the fish was gone the next morning. Granted this fish was 12 years old and had been ill for some time. I dont think the swim bladder cure hastened his demise so I rated this a 3 stars simply because of the shipping time.

I tried everything with this solution but in the end still my fish died.

My Tiger Barbs ere dropping one by one with swim bladder issues. I lost a few, but this stuff seems to have turned things around. Previously any dry foods would leave the fish struggling to stay down, but now they seem OK. I think it works as long as you treat early enough. Barbs are back on a good variety of food again, including dry.

This product didnt assist my Fancy Goldfish with her Swim Bladder issues, it may hav mildly eased it - she was nolonger upsiade down but still had massive balance issues. The remedy for my Fancy was Blood Worms, after a few days feeding her bloodworms she was much improved and almost back to normal. Perhaps her case was to severe, this may work in milder cases? 🤷🏻‍♀️
