I purchased the Eastman 8 Feet Flexible Ice Maker Connector to hook up my old fridge in the basement, and it worked perfectly. The length was just right, and the braided stainless steel with nickel-plated brass nuts feels durable and reliable. I'm sure it was more affordable here than at a big box store, and it was definitely more convenient to order it online rather than making a trip. If you need a reliable, easy-to-install connector, this is a solid choice

Installation was quick and easy. I still had the original PEX line connected to my GE refrigerator, and the water started tasting weird even after I changed the filter. That line was about seven years old. I replaced it with this Eastman connector because it's stainless steel and NSF 61 rated. It screwed on easily at both ends with no leaks. I flushed about two gallons through the fridge after installing it, and the water tasted completely normal again. If you're getting strange flavors in your water or ice, try replacing your supply line. This worked immediately for me.

Works as it should. Durable, no leaking, fairly flexible, not difficult to install.

Needed 12in jumper and it worked great.

This brand is a little more expensive than some of the other brands, but the quality appears to be much better than the others. It's important install or tighten the swivel nuts the right way. Some brands specify 1/4 turn past hand tight, this brand requires 1/2 turn past finger tight. More is not better with rubber o-rings.

Editing the review after three weeks. Works well. Had some ulpeasant taste of ice in the beginning. That seems to be only in first couple of ice buckets, probably due to the system self cleaning. Now it is gone, the taste is normal
