This is an excellent case for the Asus Vivotab Note 8. Good material. Well constructed. Relatively light weight. Compact. The tablet fits snugly into the plastic enclosure for it. Easy to get the tablet and out of the case. Much better solution for holding the tablet than most other cases I've seen. There is an elastic wrap around band that can be used to keep the case closed when not using the tablet - so no magnets to to interfere with stylus performance. You won't find any better case for this tablet in my opinion, and certainly not at this price.

This item does not fit the Asus Vivo Tab Note 8 that I purchased. The case is too large by about 1/4 inch in width and depth and the camera cutout is in the wrong location.

Cheap, sturdy, elegant. I was in the market for a cheap leather case after purchasing an Asus Vivotab Note 8, specifically without a magnetic cover. When comparing a few options on amazon, I noticed this was the only one with a pen holder. So far, this case is really great. The pen holder is the perfect size for the Surface Pro 2 pen, and the tablet sits in the case very snug. The case feels nice, and looks nice. Fantastic product.

Good fit for the Vivo Tab. The Vivo Tab snaps into the bottom of the case. The case can be securely closed using the elastic strap so there are no magnets to interfere with the wacom digitizer. There is a pen loop to hold a 3rd party stylus.When the case lid is closed, the secure digital slot is covered by the case flap. The usb charging port is accessible, so the unit can be charged with the lid closed.

Don't worry one bit about the low price. There is nothing wrong with the quality here. It looks good on the outside, grips the tablet well (mine hasn't fallen out yet), and the elastic strap is great for keeping it closed in a bag. It even has a loop for another stylus if you decide to go that route. It doesn't have magnets, either, so nothing interferes with the stylus.Some other reviewers have talked about the case being flat, which makes writing better. They are absolutely right. There is no awkward frame to write over.The only small downside I could see is the fact that the case has just one position it can prop up the tablet in. I think it's a good position. The tablet is flat on a table half of the time I use it, anyways.
