Numark CC-1 | Premium, Ultra-Robust DJ Cartridge (Headshell & Stylus) for Turntables - Perfect for Mixing & Scratching

I have to be honest and say I was hesitant about buying this set-up as to I am an Ortofon and Audio Technica lover but this sure has proven me wrong. This cartridge and stylus combo provides great output, amazing channel separation as well as a nice flat sounding response about it all the while sticking in the groove like like a pornstar on payday! I couldn't be any happier and surprised with the overall response and quality build and seriously clean sound this unit provides. It sounds and reacts better than cartridges I've paid more than double and in some instances triple. I wish I would have heard about it and tried it out sooner than I did. It's well worth the money spent. If your looking for nice crystal clear sound with excellent frequency response and that tracks well you will definitely love this item! Highly recommended!!!

Works flawlessly great stereo separation definitely a lot louder

I purchased a set of theseNumark CC-1 cartridges($99 a pair). in 2006 when Ipurchased my Gemini TT04 turntables.($350 each) The cartridges have lasted as long as the Turntables. 11 years strong and running. I will have to say in all my years I have not found a combo yet that is as good as these cartridges and turntables for their price. It's a shame The Gemini TT04 turntables were discontinued only 5 years later. They are the best decks I own outside of the Technics I have. The funny thing is all the new decks from Pioneer to Technics are now made like the TT04. from the motor/ Rotor design to the added features like LED lights, pitch selection, the removable target light, Reverse function,ability to play 78's exterior start and break adjustments and removable RCA and ground wire. Looks like they were first and ripped off. what a shame.

This is an excellent piece of workmanship, there is no need for any adjustments or alignment except for calibrating the counter weight and the anti-skate. I would definitely say that in the analog music world this is a 'PLUG-N-PLAY" cartridge. It does have a few hours of a break-in period, at first it really seems to be a poor sounding cartridge. Give it about 4 hours to break in and loosen up and it sounds amazing. So don't judge it from jump street. The bass response is very tight and the mids and highs are brilliant . Being a vinyl enthusiast I would say that this cartridge is excellent for both the beginner and veteran vinyl fans alike. I am tracking mine with 2.5 grams and it sounds great.

Bought this pair to replace some old ones for my technics 1200’s. They work great and the sound is very good. I would buy again! Arrived in excellent conditions and on time. Thank you guys!

This cartwright works great with my AT-LP120. I used it to replace my Shure M44-7 just incase the needle broke with all the kids I have. It actually sounds better in my opinion and is easy to snap on. The protective cover makes it a good choice along with its simple elegant design. I don't DJ but all my Oldschool HipHop albums sound clearer and have more bass.
