Favorite story of the series
From Claimed and Owned, I could see that the series was heading toward a story of a rescued nectar slave from one of the hideous public nectar houses. This is that story and it does not disappoint.Like the other Earth-women in this series, Abriela was snatched off Earth and sold into the nectar trade. Unlike Tressa from the previous book, however, poor Abriela doesn't produce high quality nectar, so she's sold into the pits of despair: a public nectar house. Slaves in the public nectar houses spend long days enduring forced orgasms to produce the nectar that Anterrin men are addicted to. Where Tressa's nectar is collected rather clinically, nectar slaves in the public nectar houses provide nectar "from the source" in a horrific form of sexual slavery. This whole series has a lot to say about human trafficking and sexual slavery, but this was the book in which I felt those themes resonated most strongly. Abriela's point of view provides an inside look at the dehumanisation of trafficked women. Her perspective is contrasted with the two heroes, Kirin and Damek. Where Joram in Owned worked almost entirely within the nectar system and never seems to question it, Kirin and Damek are both working outside of it. Although they're not in rebellion (yet), they're both trying to do something to improve the lot of nectar slaves, and that made them very sympathetic characters to me.The way the system perverts everyone within it is seen most strongly in this book, and I really liked that the author dug in to the workings of both Kirin's clinic and the political system to show all the interlocking pieces of the trafficking. That made this book very engaging for me.Where the love-story in Owned might be difficult for readers to swallow, given the extreme power-exchange, the romance in this book felt more natural. I was a little surprised at how quickly Abriela responded to Kirin and Damek, given the horrors of her life in the public nectar house, but she legitimately saw them as saviours, so this didn't break my willing suspension of disbelief. As with Owned, the author does a great job of building tension in this story and I was genuinely fearful for the trio through the second half of the book. I liked that both Kirin and Damek try to work within their respective systems for as long as possible and didn't immediately leap to violence. That felt quite believable for their characters. But when the time comes, Kirin and Damek step up to protect their mate and more than earn their HEA.

Love this series
Man, when you think of alien abduction stories, you don't think of aliens who can reach through space and time and just yank you through a portal so that they can use you. Nor do you think of aliens who get high off the nectar that a woman produces when she is aroused and orgasms. Unless, of course, you are Sophie Kisker, in which case you do think of those things and you do decide to share your thoughts and ideas with the world.Abriela is a human nectar slave. She's chained in a cheap nectar house for hours every day so that the Anterrin men can get their high off of using her. But one day, she makes a customer unhappy, and Abriela loses it when her master comes to reprove her about it.Kirin is a researcher. He's trying to figure out how to keep the half human half Anterrin children from dying from a terrible disease. He watches over a lot of pregnant human women. One night, when his twin brother Damek comes to pick him up at his clinic, they find an injured and bleeding nectar slave outside the clinic. She tells them that her name is Abriela and her master thinks she's dead. There is just so much going on in this book. Some of it scares me for characters to come and worries me about what's going to happen with the trios that we have already seen. I mean, things are pretty terrible right now, and who knows what's going to happen in the future. I admire Abriela because she is so strong. She goes through a lot, just being a human woman trapped as a nectar slave. I can't imagine being a free woman to being one that is forced to have 30+ orgasms a day because some man gets high on what's between my legs. I like Kirin, but I think that he's a little idealistic and naive. He's definitely a sweet summer child. Damek seems the more grounded of the two.I need more books in this series. I can't wait to see what's to come!

A hot sexy well written story that I highly recommend but not for the feint hearted.
I enjoyed reading this book. It's hot and spicy. There are some scenes that are not for the feint hearted but this is what this who have been following this series will expect. All the characters are well written and described. There are plenty of hot spicy sexy scenes. It's very easy to read with lots of different elements to hold the reader's interest. I highly recommend it. I sincerely hope that there is lots more stories to this wonderful series.

Third book of the Series
This is the third book in the 'Nectar of Gods' ' series. Earth women are being kidnapped from Earth and being used as Nectar Slaves. No spoilers here, if you know Sophie's books you won't be disappointed. Each book can be read as a standalone. I hope there are more books to follow. These books are spanking, sexy fun.

Another winner in the series.
I really enjoyed this book. Straight away I was invested in Abriela. Kirin and Damek were very alpha and I loved them both. The bond grew quickly between all 3 but it was not easy or safe as times are changing- and not for the better! Humans are not safe and neither are the Anterrins who love them. I would love to see what comes next for Anteros!
