Really close shave and a great value
I have been using different shaving razor brands for years trying to find the one that I really like. I think have found it. I have been taking notes, yes believe it or not, I took notes on how and what I liked and disliked on each brand and system I used over the last several years. I am so glad I did, because I cannot remember how each one performed after such a long time.I found that BIC gave me a really close and comfortable shave as well as being the best value of all razors I tested. The BIC Flex 5 Hybrid razor blades and shaver offered a really close shave without any irritation, razor burn or other discomforts after shaving. My wife is the real test. When she says nice, it gets full approval for closeness. All other aspects of the shaving experience are on me. I am happy with the complete Flex 5 Hybrid system. the handle is very easy to grasp and it is comfortable to hold. All contours of my face get equal closeness without having to repeatedly go over a spot multiple times. Changing blades is a breeze and the quality equals and surpasses anything I have tried. Outstanding value for the price and terrific performance allows me to give it 5 stars.

Cheaper and sharper than Gillette.
A little disclosure about myself before reviewing this product. I have high testosterone that covers my face with bristles for which I shave every day. In warmer days the shadow gets denser. My skin is rough so I can get away without using aftershave lotion or balm. But I do use it to make it soft and supple.I have used BIC pens and lighters. They came of good use to me. With the razor, I was a bit skeptical. After reading the reviews I saw no harm in trying. I have used Gillette Fusion 5 blades and razor plus Shick's 5 Blades in the past. Aside from this, my very favorite is a Merkur double-edged razor with a Feather blade. The last option is smooth but does leave with nicks which is why I started using both Shick and Gillette. I will interchange them periodically. These blades are way cheaper than Gillette. As for quality goes, it is better than a Gillette Fusion 5. My neck is the toughest area to shave. This razor cleans my neck and leaves it smooth like a baby's bottom with two strokes. With Fusion 5 it was at least four to five strokes. Sharpness lasts longer than Fusion 5. This razor is good for the whole body, just be careful. It is very sharp. The drawback. This razor is extremely sharp. In the first few times, please go slowly to avoid cuts and nicks. You will definitely have to use aftershave otherwise it will irritate your skin. I have used Duke Cannon's Aftershave Balm (Wegmans' has the cheapest price for it). The aloe vera they added is a little too much. I found that annoying. I always warm up the blade for a few minutes by dipping the razor in a warm cup of water. It helps during the shave. I give it a big 5 thumbs up.

Get a Close Shave Here!
I get the closest shave ever with these blades. Economically speaking, they are a bargain.

great razor but cuts me too easily
these were on sale so I thought I'd give them a try. There are a lot of great things about these - including ease of changing blades, handle feels secure in your hand, the razor safety caps are secure but easy to remove. It does a great job shaving on the 5 blade side. The "detail" blade is not as effective as the Gillette version. I'd give this 5 stars except it is very prone to cutting me. Most razors I shave with and I have no cuts. This one very easily cuts me - almost every time I shave my face has a bloody spot (or 2 or 3!)

Best razor to date.
I was a Gillette Fusion 5 user and thought it was very good. However, Gillette became political, so I went over to Dorco. It was comparable to the Fusion 5, but liking to try new things I tried Harry's. It was better than both the Dorco and Gillette, but I soon find they got political. So I benched it too. I had tried the single use Bic, and those are only good for emergencies IMO, so didn't think I would like this razor as much as I do. To my surprise it beats all the above. I have tried others as well, but this Bic is easily one of the better shaves I get. Blade doesn't seem to dull as fast as the others, handle is comfortable, under nose blade is best in class, and a close shave that doesn't irritate my skin (and I am very susceptible to razor burn). I am glad I took a chance, and didn't let my opinion of the Bic disposable stop me from buying this fantastic razor. My new go to.

Amazing
I typically like to buy men's razors instead of women's-- both because they are better in design and price. Women's razors are just frilly garbage... they're expensive, bulky, irritating, and don't do much.Honestly, this has got to be the best razor I've ever used!! I've been using Schick Xtreme3 Sensitive for years until now (not sure why it took me so long to branch out). This razor is weightier than the ones I was using, it's pleasing to look at, it's comfortable to hold, and the blades are amazing for getting a very close shave anywhere you need it. It's also cheaper than the razors I was buying before!!! I especially like being able to just switch out the blades because it means I don't have to waste a bunch of plastic by throwing away whole razors after a couple of weeks. For the price, I just don't see how this could be beat.

Finally this is it!
My search is finally over. If you’re looking for an affordable yet great shaving alternative to Gillette razors then look no further, these BICs are it. They are far superior to Dorco, Solimo, and Harry’s. I was on Dorco for years and they have dropped in quality as of late. The others were not acceptable to me either.I only shave 1-2 times a week so I give my razor a lot of work and it shaves like a champ. I get a smooth shave with no tug, no cuts, and no need to go over the same spot a million times like the others. I’ve now used the first blade for about 3 weeks and it’s still performing well.If you’re unhappy with your current razor, definitely try these out and I think you will be pleased like I am.
