Fantastic and versatile Desk Lamp - LOVE IT!!!
I have been using this lamp and testing it out before I wrote a review. Here are my findings so far:USER DETAILS:The lamp is very sturdy and stable. The base is heavy, keeping good stability while manipulating. The finger touch controls are spot on. They react very fast and are easy to figure out.The lamp has 3 predefined settings: READ, WORK and RELAX. Which I can relate to most common lighting needs (Soft White, Cool White and Daylight). Also, you may increase or decrease each predefined light setting as your needs may be.The lamp arm is lightweight, and very easy to manipulate to different positions (increase hight, length extension). Also the actual lamp can swivel in different directions. The lamp arm also swivels but to say 60 degrees. I move the base when not using in front of my workstation, and use it to read or just chill on my recliner. The lamp arm points of contact can also be tightened if you need so (as per instructions). I have not needed to do this, as very firm from factory. The setup is very easy, with great instructions (which I never usually read). Only one screw to tighten after assembling bade with arm. When assembling, I did not ensure arm was securely fastened to base. This did not allow lamp to turn on. As per.manual, I disassembled the arm from base and ensured it was properly seated and voila!! The lamp was operational.I received spot on support from OTUS (Serge) and was very pleasantly surprised on follow up questions about my experience and the lamp. It seems they are eager to understand customer's needs. The base charges via wireless my Samsung S10+ with a Samsung case without any issues and without needing the lamp on.STYLE NOTES:I have received plenty of compliments and it is stylish as hell... love it.Would recommend it to anyone looking for a great desk lamp. I have had many lamps before, and I am very picky with my workplace. I have distinct needs with lighting, and would not buy just ANY lamp.Hope this helps someone out there doing comparison shopping.

Almost perfect, but not quite
I have a standing desk with two monitors that are mounted on a monitor arm. I wanted to buy a lamp that was tall enough to reach over the monitors and project down on the desk.I went with this one primarily because it had the height I wanted, and there were very few other options I could find on Amazon with this kind of height clearance. Here's my good, bad, and ugly about this lamp - starting with 'ugly' since I think it's the most important.Ugly:This lamp, unfortunately, is not stable. Like I said, I use it with my standing desk, and any slight shake to the desk will make the lamp shake noticeably. It doesn't shake "a lot," but definitely more than I would like it to, especially for the $55 I spent on this (seems like it's now up to $70+). I've experimented with different angles for the arms, and even taken a look to see if I could tighten any screws or reinforce it with something, but I think the construction just isn't quite as good as it could be.Good:The color modes are a nice feature to have. I like how you can change the modes easily and can then adjust the brightness of each one. One downside that I've noticed is that blueish "work" and yellowish "relax" don't get nearly as bright as the medium-colored "read" setting. Not a big deal for "relax," but I think that "work" should be able to get as bright as "read." It seems that "read" actually just uses the two sets of LED's from the other two settings. Still, the color modes have distinct color temperatures and the lamp is bright enough to comfortably light up my desk. The lamp can adjust to be quite tall, which is great as it can easily reach behind and over my two 27" monitors.Bad:One thing I don't like are the buttons that adjust the lamp settings, for a few reasons. They are capacitive touch buttons that only light up to be visible when you touch them. This is annoying because it's hard to see what you're pressing until you touch them once to make them light up. Also, the fact that they're capacitive, as opposed to physical buttons, means you can't really build up any muscle memory of where the buttons are. You have to make a conscious effort to look at what you're pressing when you want to adjust something. What should be one easy tap to adjust a setting, turns into several taps as I try to get the buttons to light up and then find the one I want.Another thing in the "bad" category for me is the wireless charging. It technically does what it needs to do. My biggest complaint with it is that it's quite finicky to line up to get it to work, moreso than other wireless chargers I've used. Also, while not technically anything wrong with it, I personally think a USB and/or USB-C port would be much more versatile and much more useful. It's nice to have a wireless charger on my desk to charge my phone, but I would GLADLY trade the charging functionality for a couple easily-accessible USB ports that could be used for other things BESIDES my phone. Another small complaint about this wireless charger is that it features a rather ugly and large wireless charging icon as well as "OTUS" text, which detracts from the otherwise clean and minimalist style of this lamp. The wireless charging may be a selling point for you, but not for me. I bought this lamp primarily for the height, and the charging was an additional feature that I don't mind having, but USB ports would be better.Overall, I would recommend this to most people, but if you want a lamp that can stay stable at height, look elsewhere.

A lamp that's high above the desk, bright and very flexible
I looked at many desk lamps, but most of them just sit low on the desk right in front of my nose. The OTUS is different! It reaches much higher than most lamps and has three joints to bent it every which way. It is a bright lamp with adjustable brightness and three different light tones for working at a computer, reading and a warm tone for some ambient light. The touch buttons respond well and are illuminated. But the lamp can do more, it charges your phone wireless. It does so perfectly fine with my Samsung 8 with the OTTER case installed. A red LED tells you it's charging (and so does the phone). The base is big and heavy so the phone does not get in the way of the buttons to operate the lamp. OTUS made a nice and functional desk lamp.
