Wonderful for my weekly Hot Oil Treatment and Deep Condition
I have VERY thick, hip-long, 3c-4a, low porosity hair and I NEED heat to help condition my hair. I tortured myself trying to pick out a hair dryer bonnet that sucked the least. I ended up buying this one because I saw my favorite hair youtuber Naptural85 using this for deep conditioning her hair. It seemed to work well for her so I decided to give this one a try since for the most part, people complained of the bonnet flying off their head from the force of the hair dryer. I think this particular bonnet works great. I use it for 20-30 minutes at a time either for my weekly hot oil treatment or deep conditioning. The chin strap was not uncomfortable, the length of the hose was fine, it didn't fly off my head, and it came with a little pouch and it was easy to put away. The air from the hairdryer can get hot around your neck (even though I use it on low heat), but I wrap one of my daughter's old cotton receiving blankets around the base of my showercap and it keeps the hot air from burning my neck AND soaks up any stray oil that runs. I love this thing. I want to buy one for my sister.

Amazing
Ok, so I never knew these existed until a friend recommended it to me. I like to put my hair in curlers, but then your hair needs to dry while the curlers are in... who has time for that?? BUT with this, I can put the curlers in, out this amazing bonnet on and then attach the hair dryer and it dries my hair in minutes, instead of waiting for my hair to dry naturally- which takes hours. Then I take the curlers out and yeah!! My hair is curly. It is very easy to use, travels well and I love it.

Good with 2 flaws
I’m using this for deep treatments to help add moisture to my hair. I have low porosity hair. This works pretty well but you do need a dryer with a smaller end. Luckily I had a few dryers and was able to use one of them. The opening elastic is really tight so it’s hard to get it over the dryer if they are too big.It did not fit a dryer head that is 7.5” in circumference but fit one that is just under 6”. Anything around 6” or less in circumstance will work.I bought the disposable plastic hair coverings but you could use a reusable one or saran wrap to help keep the bonnet from getting wet.The bonnet stays on OK but I did not like how the strap felt. So I ended up holding the bonnet down by the strap to prevent the strap from feeling like it is choking me.I found that with my dryer medium heat was the best and every now and then kick it up to high. But the high heat definitely felt too hot on my head.I might use this in the future to dry my hair with some type of curlers. I have hair that is to my hips so it would be nice to have an option to help add some volume to my hair with out too much direct heat.

So-so...
Like some other reviewers, I had issues keeping this thing strapped down to my head. I placed my dryer on medium heat (oany higher, and you'll likely burn your scalp!), and the bonnet immediately flew off. I fiddled with it some more, tried again, and had slightly better luck. The chin strap is just too flimsy and weak. As for drying power, it'll definitely get the job done if you can keep it on your head! It easily attached to my dryer as well. I basically have to manually hold it to my head to use it. I purchased it to dry my freeforming dreadlocks faster. It did that job, but I probably should have spent more money and purchased a better product because this is too much of a hassle for me to use. You may have better luck.

Don't waste your money very poor workmanship
Poor workmanship/seamstress work. The elastic that's intended to attach any hair dryer was far too small to even go over a standard hair dryer in a large chain hotel. My career involves a lot of traveling and I was hoping to be able to use this for upcoming photoshoot I had to cut off the elastic and fasten the hose but when I turned it on it burn the s*** out of my hair and my scalp I had to alternate between cold and low it felt like hi streams of heat piercing my scalp I have started the return process. I will be purchasing a replacement from Sally's beauty supply.

Great for the traveling one and it’s a money saver.
This hair bonnet is a great buy especially if you need to style your hair while traveling and don’t have the time or money to stop by the local hair salon in hopes someone has time to set your hair before your next meeting. It’s easy to use basically you just need a handlers hairdryer and an outlet to plug into. Abracadabra its that easy. Just like regular hair bonnets they can get hot under there you can easily loosen the strings on this bonnet to relieve some of the hot air.Sum it up it’s perfect for traveling and great for your pocketbook.

Works nicely
Easy to connect the hair dryer. It’s like a shower cap in my opinion. It folds well and can be stored in a little pouch it came with. It took me a couple of try’s to keep it on, but once I got the hang of it was fine. It hold the warm air really well. I would suggest to tuck it in behind your ears. It took several minutes to dry but hands free.

Will blow off head
No matter how tight I draw the draw string, it still wants to fly off my head. I have to put a extra tie in the chin strap for it to stay on.
