Durable item. Good build
I have used this case for many years. The air tight seal is great and durability is awesome. The only flaw is the material that the lock loop is made from. It is a softer plastic than the case itself. I ran a standard, metal Master PadLock and with only the slightest torque, the plastic failed and snapped off. I like to see a metal reinforced lock loop in the future for better privacy. This case is great for long term, durable storage. Poor for security (if that’s your intent).

Small but very durable
I'm a little surprised at how small this is for the money but that's the only issue, the rest is great. Very well made, I feel as if I could chuck it off the side of a mountain with my two GoPros, mounts and all in it and everything within would survive. I did dunk it underwater for a while for fun and couldn't see any leaks. The pluckable foam is a nice feature if you want a more exact fit though I ended up getting rid of it all for room's sake.

Sturdy, great quality box
I’m a fan of pelican boxes. The quality of material and design is excellent.Great protection for your delicate electronics and other products that you want to keep safe when traveling with them. This box comes with a full foam insert that you can carve out to the size of whatever you’re wanting to protect. Instructions are included.I haven’t tested for water resistance, but if that should ever come up, I’ll update this review. This review is not only based on the this particular purchase of the Pelican box, but of past purchases, including boxes and phone cases.I like this company.

1120 Case for my S&W Shield
First of all, you can't go wrong with a Pelican case, which is why I had to give it the 5 stars. I may have misread some of the reviews and bought the 1120 for my Shield 9mm and mags. I would advise those looking for a gun case to get the 1200 series. I had to use the entire length and width on three sides of the foam pluck n pull to fit everything and I couldn't fit the gun with the 8 round mag as the foam border wasn't large enough. Not sure if I tried the 7 rounder but I assume it'll be fine as it is flush. This is no knock to the case as the feel is strong and the look is great. I should have done a little more research, which I usually do, but it'll work for now. I might eventually snag the 1200 for the added room. If you want the smallest case possible, whether for concealment or hiding purposes this may fit the bill (or if you have a smaller handgun than the shield) but again if you want to be sure you have adequate room/space you might want to consider the 1200.

Fantastic quality
Amazing quality and durability for the price. You can tell it was made with the idea of being tossed around, and I feel confident I could without damage. I trust this case to hold precious metals, but you could use it for anything you need to stay secure and perfect condition.

My First Pelican Case...Couldn't Be Happier!
Let's just say, there is a reason these cases have a perfect 5/5 stars on Amazon with tons of positive reviews...Pelican's cases are practically indestructible (realistically speaking).Waterproof, Shockproof, Dustproof, Airtight, Crushproof...and all Made in America! If you are hesitant to buy because of the price (or you are looking at some knockoff brand), just pull the trigger and get a Pelican case. These things are downright amazing!EDIT: Just wanted to add a little hint that I discovered when it comes to the pick and pluck foam. The foam that is "plucked" runs the entire depth of the foam block, so if you have a small item like a battery, it can be difficult to dig it out from the bottom of the slot you made with the pick and pluck. What I did was save the pieces of foam I plucked, cut them to size, and fit them at the bottom of the slots so that the smaller items (like batteries) are raised up more and stick out just above the top of the foam. They are much easier to take out of the case this way.

Perfect for storing Nikon 1 lenses and/or cameras
I got this case for storing my small Nikon 1 series lenses. It's perfect for traveling while securely holding and protecting the lenses without the need for a lense pouch and bag. Nikon charges over $20 each for their thin lense pouches and then you need a camera bag to carry them. Even then it wouldn't hold the lenses as securely as the internal Pick N Pluck foam..not to mention this case is airtight so it keeps out moisture and dust very well. I bought another one of these to house my Nikon 1 J5 camera and a couple of small lenses. Currently my "lense only" Pelican 1120 fits a 10-100mm VR zoom, 10mm f2.8, and 10-30mm PD zoom with room leftover for another small lense. If you want to house the camera with a couple of small lenses it would fit too. For example the 10-100mm zoom fits along with another lense attached to the camera with room leftover for accessories like battery or charger.

Awesome Design with just a few flaws
Perfect for small DSLR's and lenses, this thing is a TANK. My only issue is with the "pick and pull" style foam - it takes some getting used to at first but once you do it's pretty easy. Here's a tip: Do Not Use Tools. Use just your fingers to tear the pieces and TAKE YOUR TIME.
