A big fan of the NB 997H - they're comfortable and fit well. I have wide flat feet, and these are great! I also like the colorway. Quality of these sneakers are good - lasts well with care. The price for these were really good - one of the reasons, I got them!

Great Sneakers for my teen!
My teenage son is picky about the sneakers that I buy him, but he loves these and wears them in rotation with a few other select choices. They have been holding up well to his busy, teen lifestyle and he says that he loves the way that they fit and feel on his feet! It's a win-win for this mom!

More narrow than other New Balance
I almost exclusively wear New Balance shoes. They are good for my lower back. My go-to models are 990s and 574s. I liked the look of these and assumed they'd be the same fit. However, they run extremely narrow, even in a D-medium width. Did not fit me at all in my typical NB size. I returned these. If you are comfortable with 990s and 574s, these will likely not work for you, either, but you won't know til you try.
