Q: Does this clump into those annoying pieces that get stuck in your armpit hair after a few hours when you use it?

Maybe some things have changed since these replies from 6 years ago but the item I received was a white stick (not a clear gel) and certainly clumped after application and those clumps broke away in little dry pieces throughout the day getting all over my bed, chair, and floor.

Q: How strong is the scent? I'm using Degree clinical strength now, and the smell is unbearably strong for several hours.

Its not powerful, not overwhelming, its a mild masculine scent, but its there when u need it, hi fivin your buddy or putrin your arm around your girl, its what every man should have, i got this product, their turbo wash, its a shampoo/bodywash and their lip balm, if i could, id run Jack Black in my engine oil hahaha, hope this helps!
