Clear Hard Floor Chair Mat - 1/16 Thick 47" X 35" Rectangular Chair Mat for Hardwood Floor, BPA Free Anti Slip PVC Multi Purpose (Office, Home) Floor Protector

47" by 35". Is truly 1/8 inch thick. Crystal clear so it shows the beauty of my new flooring though the mat. It has an invisible coating on one side that keeps the mat in place as the wheeled chair rolls over it. Has not moved even an inch on my vinyl plank flooring after 1 week of daily use of the chair, moving the chair back & forth many times a day. One corner & the center of one of the 47 inch long edges seems to be off the floor a tiny bit, but not enough to cause any tripping danger. It may flatten out after some time or when the temperature gets a bit warmer as it is in an area with AC set to 70 degrees. I have not tried anything to flatten it out in these areas as it is not causing a problem for me or the other person who uses the chair. Its clarity, thickness, floor protection, and the fact that it always stays in place more than makes up for the slight rising of the center of one edge & one corner. The quality & thickness of this item insures that it will last a very long time. Note that this is being used on a hard floor, not a carpet, so I cannot comment on if it would work on a carpet. I am going to order two more for 2 other rolling chairs on the same type of flooring.

This is an amazing chair mat and though it is intended for hard floors, I'm using it in my bedroom/office carpeted floor. My old mat was cracking up after less than one year of use so I just laid this one down on top of it to give a semblance of a hard floor. Since this mat is Truly Vinyl (and very thick and heavy), it is holding its place very well and I don't see how it will ever crack...this could be the LAST CHAIR MAT I WILL EVER HAVE TO BUY...LOVE IT!!!

Not great. Scratched up but was in a sealed green cover. Also after a few days the edges are still curled and won’t lay flat. Looks like bad quality control. Wouldn’t recommend this at all.

I’m so impressed with this chair mat! I love that it’s see through so that I can see the ceramic tiles under it, I love the thickness so it doesn’t move as I do and the size is perfect! The seller did a wonderful job with packaging it so that it didn’t get damaged and it arrived even sooner than promised! I would highly recommend this product and this seller!

product is exactly as described, arrived very well protected, lays flat on the floor straight from the box, I am using it under the office chair, looks thick- it is to soon to say about longevity but it is perfect fit for home office as 3rd picture is showing

Gratitudes for the fast arrival of this transparent mat. I recently restored the hard wood floors in my house and there are 3 coats of polyurethane dried on the living room floor. I noticed that my office chair caused some damage on the 3rd layer of polyurethane and decided to order this mat immediately. A few days later it arrived and it has done very well to protect the floor and still allow me to move the chair around the table as needed. I highly recommend this mat to anyone in a home or office setting requiring protection of the floor from a chair, table or any furniture whose weight could cause damage.

I needed a thick chair mat to protect a recently installed hardwood floor from the rollers of my office chair.With little fuss or effort, I unpacked mine - laid it on the floor - put my chair on it. There is no curling of the corners, chair rolls smoothly and without creating 'divots' in the thick mat material.Does it do a little dance of joy when I come in every morning - NoDoes it make the coffee and take out the trash - NoIt's a chair mat, what are people expecting from it?Does it do what a chair mat should do without causing additional problems - YES!

This product is available in a couple different thicknesses - this review is the thicker, 1/8" version. It came folded up in a box, in sort of an S shape. It was a cold day when it arrived, so the plastic was a bit stiff. I laid it out on the floor, and after about 1/2 hour to let it warm up, I pressed it down flat. At that point, the edges were still curling up maybe an inch. Since our floors aren't all that warm, I was wondering if it would lie flat, but when we got up the next morning, it was totally flat on the floor. It has remained totally flat, and it has not moved a bit from where I put it. So, I am very pleased. It is slightly glossier than I would prefer, but that is totally a preference issue, and I imagine it will get a little more matte as we scuff it up over time. This is a great product and a solid choice.
