Good quality rug
Very nice well made rug. After looking on Amazon for awhile for new rugs I was very happy with the quality of this rug. I have mine inside the house. They do come rolled up but only one end was curled up. I just put some heavy free weights on the edge of them for a bit and they flattened right out.

Look no further!
This mat is the best! Heavy... real heavy, yet soft. My cat loves it too *LOL* It came unfolded in a flat box and laid perfectly flat right away. While I'm using it indoors, I have no doubt that because of the weight it would also work outdoors very nicely.

Perpetually waterlogged
So I got this big entry mat because I need one that can 1) because outside in all New England weather, 2) let water drain through without it being a big sponge, 3) be large enough for the concrete steps outside my door, 4) actually be able to wipe dirt off our feet off outside like an functional mat, 5) not slip around. I've had it for a couple months through the summer and winter seasonal changes now and it's held up outside but it's basically a massive sponge. It holds water for days and days despite being on a south-facing step that gets constant sun all day. Water does technically run through but it doesn't dry. You can wipe your feet off of mud... but your shoes are soaked when you step into your house. I thought this would be an improvement over a traditional coir welcome mat but they do the exact same thing, the only benefit using this one is this is way larger than anything I could afford in coir and color stands up better as coir will fade being constantly wet like that. It weighs an absolute ton though when it's waterlogged because of its size though, I thought I could just pick it up and let it dry on our railing but it's too heavy so it sits there waterlogged forever. If you have a covered porch or something I'm sure this would be fine, but at that point it doesn't necessarily need to be an exterior mat either so who cares. This mat definitely didn't solve my problems, still looking.

This is the best of all the mats I have seen and tried
It is heavy and absorbs all water, snow, etc. It came in a flat box which eliminates having to flatten the edges. This is the best of all the mats I have seen and tried. All the others claim to be heavy duty when they barely weigh 1-2 lbs.

Nicer than I expected
After reading the reviews about "odor," I was a bit concerned, but I can happily report that the initial order was barely noticeable. The mat is much nicer than I expected - softer and prettier. I have it just inside the door and it is working well to catch the dirt.Update - after 2 years of use, I still am happy with this door mat. I am also posting a picture to answer a question on how the coffee color looks against brick.

Outstanding mat--but strong rubber smell
I really like this mat. It is heavy duty, & looks great in my entry. But when I opened the packaging, the rubber smell (like new car tires) was overwhelming. I kept it outside for 3 days to air it out. On 2nd day, I hosed it down & washed it with Simply Green & let it dry. On 3rd day, the odor was reduced, but still strong. I mixed 2 cups of vinegar in a bucket of water & added a couple of squirts of dish detergent. I then poured this in the mat (both sides) & let it soak for an hour before I rinsed it off. After it dried, the smell was a lot better-- I could still smell it, but not too bad, so I was able to bring it back into the house.Again, I really like this mat--would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the smell & effort to get it out.

Best choice for decent looking high quality floor mats
We put these mats down inside our large front mudroom at the begging of winter. They are excellent quality, stay put, are heavy/solid yet low profile. You will not regret buying this mat.We bought one initially and loved the quality so much we bought two more to cover most of the floor during the wet snowy/salty winters in MN. We will take up 2 of them and leave one inside the door in the spring/summer/fall but they were a life saver over the winter for wet boots and shoes, salt trekked in from the sidewalk and driveway, and keeping our floors clean, dry and protected from large busy family foot traffic. We even bought a 4th for the pole barn door because it is sturdy enough to handle that foot traffic yet does not look terribly industrial.Highly recommend!

hasn't flattened out
I can't give a proper review on this product because it came rolled up, and even nearly 2 months later in the FL sun and heat it still hasn't flattened out which I don't think it's gonna! Because there's big ripples all in it, our screen door gets caught on it every time it is opened and now it is starting to fray the carpet part.
