Cornilleau - 250S Crossover Outdoor Table

The Cornilleau 250S Crossover is proving to be a wise choice for our backyard which is, at the moment, an uneven patch of dirt that had been a lawn before the drought hit several years ago. I emphasize the poor quality of our yard surface to underscore the high quality of the table that is able to compensate for that. The blue table is beautiful, and the surface plays great and is easily cleared of leaves, dust, or pollen that can rain down from the surrounding trees. I'll concentrate most of this review on things I couldn't confirm just comparing tables online. The corner legs are easily adjustable by screwing the rounded feet in either direction. And the legs themselves are very solid and robust. Folding the table up and down is very easy and secure. You just pull a big orange lever on the underside of the table and hold it in that position while lifting or lowering each half until it clicks into position. The net can stay up, so you don't have to fiddle with the net every time you raise and lower the table. When the table is lowered, you'll want to make sure to lift the side of the table near the net until it clicks into place (if it isn't already) to ensure your level, locked surface. (Reassuringly, I found this folding up and down mechanism far superior to the Kettler indoor table that I had considered buying used.) The double wheels are even more sturdy than they appeared online, easily rolling over the sticks and other debris in our yard. Once I put the brakes on right side up (the assemblers had put them on upside down), they've been solidly keeping the table in place when pressed into place. Another leap of faith I made was getting the seemingly expensive racket and ball set from Cornilleau. But the rackets are really quite good, and they fit easily in the clever side pockets, above which there is room for several ping pong balls on either side. I also got the cover, and that is easy to get on and off yet fits snuggly. So far it's kept the birds and squirrels away and has allowed us to get started with less delay than it would otherwise take to wipe down a table that had been left under the trees without any cover. We've also tried the "playback" mode where half the table is up and serves as a backboard for one person to hit against. That mode performs very well. It's early days, but I think we'll have no problem getting our money's worth out this table, and I have no regrets not getting the seemingly more commonly purchased Kettler or a more expensive Cornilleau model.A word on the delivery: the packaging was really great (e.g., particle board/plywood on the ends, several layers of extra strength cardboard) and protected the table through what appeared to be a perilous journey, complete with boot marks showing that someone with large dirty feet had walked on the box. Thank you for that attention to detail, Cornilleau, as it evidently saved the table from the shipping damage you read about in reviews of other tables! My one complaint is that delivery logistics could have been better. Amazon handed it off to third parties (in my case, handed off to Estes who handed it off again to another local company). I would have liked to be able to more easily arrange a narrower delivery window (mine was six days). I came home from work one day to a note saying the package couldn't be delivered because I wasn't home. I had to trace through the layers of shippers and call general numbers late on a Friday to finally make some headway. They said they called, but they left no voicemail, and these days I get so many spam calls I often don't answer calls from unknown numbers. When I made contact, I was given a tentative re-delivery date. I arranged to work from home on that date, but that afternoon I was told that the package would be delivered during a four-hour window that next day! So I had to leave work again the next day, and the package was delivered at that time. It was good I was home because the one delivery guy needed my help to get it into the back yard. And then I needed to be home again the next day because the professional assembly wouldn't allow me to schedule assembly until after the last day of the delivery window. We're all up an running now, but that part of the experience needs significant improvement.

After we retired an 10+ year old outdoor ping pong table recently, we decided to look for a better quality replacement. After reviewing many reviews, we settled for Cornilleau 250 series. It arrived today in a well-packaged carton securely strapped onto a pallet. My sons and I well able to assemble it in 2 hours by following the written instructions and the video tutorial. My sons have been playing in the last 4 hours! In short, I am very happy with the quality of the product. Hopefully it will last at least another 10 years.

This is a great table. Top quality and really easy and smooth to fold up and roll away when not in use. Well designed. It arrives unassembled and my son and I had a fun time putting it together. Took awhile, but not super hard if you are good at these things. If not, then get someone to do it for you who knows how.

Couple features shown in the pictures are not correct. Did not have corner protectors and the net is not the auto release with height adjusters rather it is manual release with out height adjusters. Both these features were selling points for me so I was disappointed. I do like the table and with the aid of a 1/4 inch metric ratchet set, You Tube and an extra person to help set the tables - I was able to assemble in 2 hours.

Really nice all weather table for the price. Requires two people for assembly. Folds easily for storage. Rolls easily but very sturdy.

The table is nice. There was a little damage in shipping which I think happens a lot.Good instructions on assembling it.

So far so good. A little tricky putting together. One part of the paddle holder was missing. Otherwise perfect.

Excellent quality piece of kit. I paid extra for the table to be set up. Took two guys 30 minutes to put together.Less stress on my part and could start playing straight away.Also bought a cover to protect table.

Really good value for money and a simple and easy operation once built. Instructions could have been better, but not that had for anyone who knows how to hold a screwdriver. Does take two people to put it together as you need to hold heavy bits level at times. Quality product

Came 3 days late and hard to assemble but not that bad. The bounce could be better recommend following video instructions

Easy to fold and unfold. My son loves using it by himself with the backboard set-up.

Good quality table. Very pleased. Took am afternoon to put together and definitely a 2 person job but not too difficult. Very pleased all round.

La table de ping pong de fabrication française Cornilleau 250 S Cross Over Outdoor de couleur grise représente un excellent rapport qualité prix. le colis pèse quand même 75 Kgs donc faite vous livrer directement chez vous car la table même en carton est volumineuse. Il faudra vous munir d'un tournevis cruciforme et d'une clé à douille de 10 et aussi de ne pas perdre toutes les pièces qui composent le kit dont certaines sont très petites. Soyez patient car il vous faudra environ 2 heures de montage. Mais après le montage la table est d'une ridigité et surtout parfaitement plane quequesoit le terrain car les pieds sont réglables. Le rebond est parfait c'est une table de championnat. Bon été à vous. :-)

J'ai acheté ce produit et les roues ne tiennent plus et se sont enlevees .Depuis le montage le produit n’était pas très bien .
