I love doing paint by numbers. As an artist, I think paint by numbers are a really fun way to bring out creativity without having to think hard.Brushes arrived used, hard (from dried paint), and unusable. The canvas is printed so dark with the numbers that the paint does not cover over the lines. You can see all the lines on this paint by number. The acrylic paint is very cheap and not pigmented. It takes about 4 layers to cover over the numbers; however, there is not enough paint in the kit to do this. Save your money and buy a better paint by numbers from Michaels.

Although this was a fun painting, it was a constant fight with the paints. They all were very dry. While most ended up ok to paint after adding water and working with them, at least two colors were unusable and had to be tossed. Luckily I had other paint I could use.

So first off this is the coolest desert scene I’ve found for paint by number. Unfortunately 3/4ths of the paint was dried up. I really liked the scene so I painstakingly rehydrated a majority of the paints so that I could paint. The red was beyond saving, I actually ended up using red that I had on hand. The other colors were too unique to replicate so I boiled water and dropped it in to the tray and smashed the chunks of paint around until it was relatively liquid again. Overall the quality of the paint made this one a tough one to enjoy, but I like the end product enough to have pushed through the crap.

This is the 2nd paint by number set that the paints are dryed up. It just saddens me that this has happened again, since I live alone and can't just go to a store because 1 I don't have a car & 2 my eye sight isn't so good anymore. I thought this was coming on a canvas backing but it was just a soft canvas fold it up

I like the extra print out given to navigate the numbers on canvas. I like the generous amount of paint and brushes

Not what I expected at all. Lines and numbers were so light and small I could not read them. It was also a lot more complex than explained. I returned it.
