I bought two of these dress for my twins that just turned 8 and will be baptized next month. I was afraid to buy a bigger size after reading some of the reviews. I decided to buy one 10/11 and other 8/9. The size 10/11 was perfect for them and the 8/9 was perfect on the waist for one of my girls but a little shorter compared with the other giving the impression that the dress was getting small for her. I returned and bought another 10/11. If your daughter is skinny but tall (age of 8) buy a size bigger.
