As advertised......
This Brunton Heavy Metal power pack really delivers the juice! I recently used it for a trip to Jamaica. Living on the west coast the elapsed time with layovers was roughly 12 hours and it delivered two full charges to my IPad as well as another to my phone and still have power to spare. It's not the lightest thing in the world but the extra weight is a good tradeoff for the power it provides. If all you need is a couple of additional phone charges then I'd opt for one of Brunton's less powerful power packs. If you're going to need to rely on it for an extended period of time then this is the choice to make.The instructions suck as they don't even begin to explain which cables facilitate charging the unit and which ones are to be used for charging your device(s). The bottom line is that anything any of the cables will do either task. Enough said on that.Disclaimer: In my opinion a product that performs as expected will never receive more than four stars. I think that to deserve a five star rating, a product should surprise me with value, benefits and deliverables that exceed my expectations and reasons for choosing it in the first place. Otherwise, how can I give an adequate rate those truly exceptional products that every once in a while, we our great delight, happen upon......

User manual misinform
I thought this product was a bit awkward, and after a while I also thought it had malfunctioned. The reason for this was the user manual. This device has two cables integrated, as picture shows. One micro-USB for charging your phone or whatever else charges this way, and one regular USB, which one would automatically think is for charging the power pack back up - and it also is. The problem is that the device also comes with a regular USB port (which probably is for custom cables, if the two integrated ones are not compatible with your device), BUT the manual clearly states that it is the USB port, NOT the cable, you should use to charge the power pack itself. This was really weird, as it came with no such strange cable (regular male to regular male USB).To the guy who asks for the manual, you're better off without it. The device is self-explanatory, and the manual will only confuse you, and might even break something if you follow it.
