Didn't even last a week
I'm so disappointed in this product. This was a Christmas gift last year (12/2014) for my sister. She originally told me she loved it, used it all the time, and bought a second one to keep at work. I recently found out that was a lie. I was complaining that my 16000mAh died out of the blue and she confessed that hers didn't even last a week. She charged the battery pack up, used it once to charge her iPhone 4s (what she had at the time), and it never would charge up again. She said she read reviews and someone suggested buying a different charger to charge up the pack, which she did. That didn't help at all. The battery pack was completely dead. The second one she purchased was actually the replacement for this one because she liked the idea of having one. She bought that in January of 2015 and has used only that to charge both her iPad and new iPhone 6+. She's never used a wall charger to power up her devices since January and THAT battery pack is still going strong. So I just purchased myself the same pack. In reading reviews for RAVPower Elements (any mAh), I've found that the majority of consumers have complained about exactly the same thing.

Glad I got this
Works perfect and last a LONG time like 2 days running a RaspberryPI 2 im using this for that and charge it with the 2.5amp adapter i got with the Canaberry PI2 kit makes the PI more portable. sturdy case not a cheap build i think it would handle a few small drops if it had to.Update 7-31-17 took it apart to test the cells much to my surprise Samsung cells in this thing see photo All of them the 2600mAh cells in Parallel for a total of 10400mAh wow now this is a company that dont cheat the customer. Cell voltage is 3.7 and you need 5.2 volts to charge a phone so my guess is the board in it is a step up converter. After getting it apart 3 of the cells literally was not welded or the welding was ready to go it took very little pressure to get the tab off the batteries and some spots no pressure at all. This must be why the charge was not lasing as long. Im currently testing all the cells and replace what is needed or just solder the cells back if all of them check ok but after 2 years and use it every day 7 days a week im thinking it may be just a bit short on capacity. Its help up well though im just surprised to see the welding be so bad

State Parks and Airports have few outlets to charge phone
This is one of my favorite purchase's in a while. I travel a lot, and somehow a phone's battery knows you're traveling, and need your phone, so it runs out of power twice as quickly. Airports are trying to accommodate the billions of cell phones that pass through each day. So, a billion cell phones that need to be charged, in a place that has 50-100 outlets/charging stations...I think I've made my point. This summer I was camping and I didn't have access to power the way I thought was possible. For the record, State parks have approximately the same number of outlets as, let's say...the Denver and Atlanta airports...combined! With what power I had left on my life support/phone I ordered this gem. It's fantastic. I can/will charge my iPhone 5s FIVE TIMES without a re-charge. There are other brands and sizes; but, I had a good feeling about this one. I was right!!

Ok product
My external charger pack was only able to charge my iPad Air from 10% to 79% overnight. The IPad Airs have a battery capacity of about 8,800 mah so this product wasn't even able to give out the full advertised charge. Note: I understand there is normally an efficiciency loss in external chargers but this seemed too big of a loss. When the RAVPower product is recharging, it does get warm near the area where you plug in the cables while the rest of the product is cool too touch so that seems like a positive. I also do like the look of it and the weight of the product as well.Update:The company sent me a replacement device and I was able to charge my iPad from 7% to 83%. The new replacement gave my iPad a better charge so I increased the product rating to 3 stars. The company responded to my original review quickly after it posted as well we as ship out a new one. They do have great customer service but ok product.

Fantastic charger.
Reliable, compact, durable, easy to use, even good styling. Nothing negative to say about it. I keep it in my motorcycle as an emergency power source for smart phone, GPS, Garmin VIRB crash cam, and tablet. It gets rattled around in the globebox but still looks new. I consistently get three FULL charges and one 65% charge (and I mean from absolute 0%) for my Note 3 and it does it pretty quickly on the 2.1 amp port. I can charge my Samsung Note Pro 12.2 tablet from completely dead to 100% and still have enough left over to half charge my phone on the other USB port. It works just like they say it does. I have no complaints at all. This is a good value and I can recommend it for general use.

Superb Appearance and Works Perfectly.
Superb Appearance and Works Perfectly. I purchased this for its appearance more than its functionality. But it also works just as well as any other portable charger. I have two other RAVPower portable batteries in a different style, too. The other style looks almost like a somewhat large cell phone. They all work fantastically. I've given all my other brands away as gifts so that I only own RAVPower portable chargers now. This is the most compact 10K mAh battery charger I own and it easily fits in any of my wife's many purses. Numerous people have asked her what brand her battery charger is when she used it in public - simply because of the appearance. So style does matter.

Great compact portable charger!
I have just gotten the power bank a few days ago but so far, it's been performing excellent!A big plus is the battery % indicator. The two power banks I had before only had a button for on and off. Speaking of on and off, the power bank doesn't need to be switched on for to start charging! Just plug and go.I tried charging my ipad mini and iphone and both ports work (even though one of them says 2A and the other 1A). I will update my review again once I travel for a week on planes and buses. It is slightly bulkier than the iphone with an otterbox and not the lightest for sure. But it's not too inconvenient to carry.I'm definitely excited to test out the capacity and hope that it'll last during my travels!
