Exactly what I was looking for…
I wish I’d known about this stuff before going to a dermatologist. I was experiencing dark splotches on my face, that I later learned just needed to be exfoliated. Within a few weeks of using this product, I noticed a lightening of the area and marked improvement. It’s acid, so it lifts the outer, external layer of dead skin off the face gradually over time to expose new skin. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully because the product will burn your skin if you leave it on too long or use it too frequently. Great product. Worked for me.👍🏼

Works good
Works good for me. Does sting a little. No peeling. Leaves skin smooth. I’m dark skin for reference. (Black)

It goes fast; don’t think it’s 50%
I offered this after I felt I was ready to bump up to 50% from my usual 30% glycolic. The company that made the 30% I had been using doesn’t offer 50% so I tried this one. It’s stronger than 30% but I’m not sure I believe this is actually 50%. (I could be wrong, as I’m only going by how it feels). It seems to work as other glycolic avid products do, but it takes a lot to get the job done. I haven’t had very long at all, and I do t use it daily (3-4x a week), and this bottle is almost half gone. I don’t understand why that has happened.I will probably try another brand when this bottle is gone. I might be ba m for more of this if I don’t find something that lasts longer. It is stronger than 30%, but I’m not sure what the strength is.If you’re new to using AHAs, this is probably not the right product for you. Start low (>10%) and work your way up to 20%; stay with that for a longtime; bump up to 30%, and so on. AHAs are really good for your skin, but you do have to respect that they are acids and guve your skin time to get used to it at lower concentrations. And always use a sunscreen because all AHAs will make you much more susceptible to photo damage from the sun.

Beware, do not set next to your hyaluronic acid.
Because the hyaluronic acid and the glycolic acid bottles are so completely similar, I accidentally grabbed my glycolic acid and rubbed it all over my face. It started burning around my eyes of course. It took me a minute or two to figure out what had gone on. I had done appeal just two days prior and set the bottle next to my hyaluronic acid. I wish the manufacturer would put a red line around the top of the chemical peel bottles. That way if you have several of the same products, then you don't accidentally reach for the wrong one. On that note, there was no baking soda in the house, lol! I had to rush down to my local grocery store, buy some baking soda, and run into the grocery store bathroom to mix up a water baking soda paste in my hands and apply it to my face immediately. I had Burns underneath my eyes for about 5 days. Of course this was my fault. Other than that I love this glycolic acid peel. Just wish the label had a little different distinction from the regular daily facial products.
