I replaced the standard lava rocks in my fire pit with this **Caribbean Blue** fire glass, and the difference is night and day. When the flames hit the **reflective coating**, it looks like the fire is dancing on sparkling water. It’s absolutely mesmerizing and gives the whole backyard a modern, high-end resort feel. The quality of the glass is excellent—it’s thick, well-cut, and I didn't find any "dust" or tiny shards at the bottom of the bag. Because it’s **tempered**, it handles the heat perfectly with no popping or cracking, and it doesn't emit any smoke or odors. The **1/2-inch size** is the sweet spot; it’s chunky enough to allow for great airflow so the flames stay nice and tall. One 10 lb bag provided great coverage for my standard fire table, and the color is just as vibrant in person as it is in the photos. If you want an easy, affordable way to level up your outdoor space, this reflective glass is a complete game-changer. It’s easily the best "upgrade" I’ve made to my patio this year!

The amber color is so pretty, it also has a slight iridescent color to them which sparkles when the flame is on and resemble burning embers. Very durable pieces with no super sharp edges so safe to handle. Easy to clean with soap and water. Compared to other places, this was a good price.

The glass looks great. No issues with any pieces popping. The reflective coating looked great for a year or so, but if it's left outside and uncovered it'll get dusty and dull. Not the product's fault -- just be cognizant of that. It probably could just be washed if I cared to. Would definitely buy again!

Great color, looks great in my firepit. Wasn't quite enough to fill my pit so I bought another bag and filled both of my fire pits up.

I needed some fire glass for a fire table, and I did some research beforehand, because I'd read so many things about glass coming in tiny pieces, melting and turning black, etc. This glass had good reviews and said it wouldn't melt, so even though it was twice as expensive as some, I decided to purchase it. First off, the glass is, in fact, larger pieces, so that's good. There were a few smaller pieces as well as a very few odd looking rectangular un-mirrored pieces, but overall, it was a nice batch of fire glass. The mirrors on the backside are awesome! It's what creates the beautiful reflection and makes it really sparkle. Per other reviewers recommendations, I did put all of the glass in a wire mesh strainer to rinse with vinegar and water and then put on a cookie sheet with a towel to dry overnight before putting in my fire table. This really made the glass shine. I definitely recommend it! I've not used this much (only used about one hour total), but so far, the glass is not melting or turning black. It's holding up nicely and still looks brand new. Don't hesitate to spend more and get a product that will perform better! This is it! :)

This glass fire rock are so beautiful. The size is perfect. Can’t wait to put them in my fire pit. I would definitely buy them again!!!!

These look so much better in my fire pit than the black lava rocks that came with it. They are a deep blue with a reflective quality. I bought the 20 lb bag for the same price as 10 lbs were at the big box store. Very happy with this purchase.

They are a conversational piece and an eye catcher. They are a lovely colour. We used them in our garden around the fountain. The only disappointment was the bag did not weigh 20lbs. It only weighed 19lbs. If every bag they sell @19lbs, they make a nice profit shorting every bag by 1lb. I ordered 2 bags at the same time, but shipped separately. I will be weighing the 2nd one and see if it is the same outcome.

Excellent quality for our fire table. The pieces were all of uniform size and quality. It is just broken glass (Fire rated) that shimmers beautifully and love the deep blue colour it provides. I used 3/4 of bag and was more than enough to overfill the Table (more than this covered the flame and needed to remove) There is lots left over for top ups if ever needed. The glass is a big improvement from the lava rock we had and really upgrades the table. We have run this for hours on end and have no issues with glass popping or any concerns what so ever. This seemed to be one of the better deals on Amazon and glad we made this purchase and would recommend this. I spent several hours reading reviews and comparing products and feel this research paid off ! Hope this review helps !
