Gates 91030 Micro-V Stretch Fit Installation Tool, Black

Had to install a "V" belt with hardly any adjustment. Put the tool onto the last pulley, pushed the side of the belt up onto the tool, slowly rotated the engine with a ratchet wrench and on it went! No pinched or injured hands or fingers! Highly recommended!

I used this to put the stretch belt on the vacuum pump for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 5.3L

Product worked as intended. Scuffs and paint chips don't affect the usage of the tool and will happen just from sitting in someones toolbox.The one I received clearly had scoring marks where the bolt had been tightened down to be used along with numerous other dings and a noticeable gouge in the corner. It appears it was bought, used, returned, and resold to me.Again it worked as intended, you might just receive a used one.

Well made, but didn't work for my application (2007 Ford Edge). My pulley has a rolled edge making it too wide for the tool to fully engage the pulley slot. In addition my belt/pulley is narrower than the tool so the tool kept falling off. After a few frustrating hours I used zip ties to anchor the belt to the pulley and cut the tie off after getting the belt on. I'll keep the tool for other vehicles.

Only used it once but worked good for me. I can tell it won’t work on every application but for the vehicle I used it on, it was a great help.

Purchased to replace stretch belt on 2013 Mazda 3i Hatchback with Skyactiv 2.0L I4 engine.THIS DOES NOT FIT!The problem is that the location where it would insert is too close to the engine block and it just won't fit in there.That said, IT IS ALSO UNNECESSARY to complete the job. I was able to simply work the belt around the pulley without the tool. Removal of the old belt was accomplished with a pair of heavy duty scissors.The tool itself seems reasonably sturdy and could probably work on other cars. I returned this for a refund.

I got this just as insurance because I have to remove my AC belt every time I take off my V-belt, but this tool didn't help at all, and had no way to be used for my purpose. I ended up just using a crowbar instead, the universal belt installer tool. Do yourself a favor and don't get this unless you know for sure it will work on your exact car.

El producto es bueno, sin embargo no se dispone de la informacion suficiente en cuanto a los modelos de auto donde aplica al 1005, me sirvio parcialmente. Creo que ya hay mejores productos en el mercado que son de uso generico.(vendidos por autozone)
