Nasty synthetic cord- not cotton.
I'm sure it has its uses, but I thought I was getting a braided cotton or linen cord and what arrived feels more like woven plastic- the ends fray badly when cut, requiring that you burn them to melt the fibers together (again- synthetic fiber, not cotton.) I was up against a deadline which is why I ordered this item instead of ordering from my usual supplier otherwise it would have been sent straight back.

Very Hard To Work With
I'm not young and my hands are a little stiff, so for me, this cord is very difficult to handle. It is very slippery - the label says it is soft, flexible, and strong. It is all that, but it won't hold knots. It keeps trying to slip out of place, and it frays very easily. Also, when trying to stop the fraying I tried to burn it. It's the only cotton that I've ever used that melts.

Thin beading cord with little stretch
Read the description carefully before purchasing, as I did not. This is very thin beading cord with a little but not much stretch to it. Would work well for making bracelets but would require hooks as it would not flex enough to fit over wrist.

False Advertising
Not even Cotton! It's all polyester and to thread it's no good the strands open up apart and it is impossible to use also this is not waxed at all... Useless

This arrived a few weeks ago and I have been using it as a silky macrame cord. I will be ordering more very soon, as I have been working on quite a few pieces with it. It looks exactly as pictured in the photo.

Great quality, smaller than I thought but it works well. Don't plan on using slip knots for neckaces because the cord slides too easily.

This cord was not waxed and not cotton. Tied a knot in it and it was so slippery it came right out.

Very good quality, sturdy cotton. I use this in my leathercraft projects and I love the colour.
