The Vision Board: The Secret to an Extraordinary Life

This is a very good book about vision board making. Unfortunately I got the similar book "It Works!" before Miss Joyce Schwartz's book. That book taught every "essential" know-how about Goal/Vision setting in 15-20 pages of it. No-nonsense/ direct to the core. That book simplifies everything. Left with no doubt.This book, on the contrary, presents unnecessary and complicated information. And from times to times presents real-life vision boards which are, in my humble opinions, wrong in every level of vision board making. (Such as writing negative phrase instead of positive one.)Yet it's still a very good book for vision board beginners. If you want a collection of Law of Attraction books you should have this book.

This is a beautiful book, nice size, easy to travel with.The Vision Board by Joyce Schwarz has a lot more information and advice than I expected from a Vision Board book and I purchased more to see examples and photos of other vision boards, which this has lots of (some are amazing).But it goes deeper than that, people share their life stories and how the boards helped them focus on what they wanted, like a mental list. There are sections on health, romance, career, family life and wealth. I particularly liked the section on making a board with your child. It's a fun craft project that allows you to see what your child is thinking of and what is interesting to them and their dreams and visions. Priceless.It doesn't promise to answer all your questions about life or promise if you make a vision board of money you'll be rich, it's just a nice guidebook on how to create a vision board.Some examples of people who have used vision boards to be successful include Walt Disney, Jim Carrey, and Dilbert creator, Scott Adams.

The book itself is great. The formatting? Terrible.I'm shocked that this poorly formatted a book is allowed to be sold on Amazon. There are entire chunks of the book that just won't load - not just 1 or 2 pages but sometimes 5 to 10 pages are just not loading. I have read comics and graphic novels on my E-Reader and never had a problem.This is very disappointing. Do not recommend the ebook.

I bought this book, primarily because, as a musician, I regularly either buy a book about creativity, or try to learn a newskill, or craft, like dowsing, or cooking a different type of meal. Creative mixing is what keeps my lyric-writing fresh...Joyce Schwarz' book was inspirational, colourful, down-to-earth with fantastic advice, and many different stories of people who used vision boards, and their results. I was so impressed with the different styles of vision boards, and realised thatanything goes, when you make your own. The chapters are well laid-out, and the typeface is easy to read.I'm still in the prep phase, but this is the most fun I've had in a few months! Vision boards can be used for anything; projects, family activities, cosmic ordering, or even wedding planning.There are numerous websites to check out, but at the moment,I have yet to see the website connected to the book,[...].I'd recommend this book, and I am so grateful Joyce took the time to write this book.
