Nine Forty Microfiber Wet Dry Dust Mop Head for Hardwood Floor Set | Handle | 36 Inch Flat Pad Broom

We have an open floorplan house, with a large area of kitchen, hall, den and dining room with laminate floors. We also have 2 dogs. Needless to say, the floor gets pretty dirty between what they track in the the fur they shed. Using a small broom or even vacuum was a time consuming process. This 36 inch mop has been the answer to my prayers. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I can sweep large swatches of the floor quickly, and the microfiber pad picks up the fur and dust. It is easy to knock off much of the dirt by shaking it outside, and then I just throw the pad in the wash. The head swivels easily on the handle, and it allows me to fit the mop head on an angle through the tighter spots. My only (minor) complaint is that sometimes when I have twisted the mop all around the floor the handle loosens slightly from the base, but it is easy to screw back tight. This saves me loads of time and does a great job.

My cleaning just got 1000 times easier! Covers SO much floor surface and slides into and under skinny spaces. Easy to remove and rinse the sturdy cleaning pad. I was so excited to try this as I have been looking for a good mop since moving into our new home. Saw this at a friends house and decided to give it a go. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I mop literally every day. With 3 little kids, our floors are constantly gross. I was tired of the flimsy kind with short handles. I was breaking my back bending over them (I'm over 6ft) and then pieces would come apart or the pads would slide around. I decided to be wild and ordered this mop with a Christmas gift card.This mop is great. It covers approximately 4 times the surface area at once that a Swiffer sized mop does. (See the comparison picture) It does not come apart, the pad does not budge. It is held in place by very strong Velcro. I can really get after tough spots and it won't move at all. The pad is nice and thick, but dries out easily, so I won't have to wash it every time I use it. A plus since I'm mopping daily. I just hang it up to in my closet and it dries out.Because the pad is held in place by strong Velcro, a piece of fleece cut to the size of the mop works great as a dust mop! It is a SOLID, behemoth of a mop. I'm using the highly rated black diamond cleaner or just plain water spritzed with a squirt bottle and this takes just about everything up. My floor was "clean" when I experimented with it and I was grossed out by what it got up.The length is fantastic, and adjusts easily.It takes me HALF the time top mop my kitchen with this verses the cheaper microfiber or Swiffer mops and the result is much better. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants efficient floor cleaning without breaking their back!

The micro fiber head cover works best on tile, wood or epoxy floors when damp. I have a 50x60 metal garage with an epoxy covered concrete floor and the micro fiber cover picks up most of the dirt and debris. Just take it to the sink and rinse it off with plain water and continue cleaning. I would buy it again.

Everything about the mop is superior except the velco attachment strips that hold the microfiber mop head. These are riveted on and thin. The force of pulling off the mop head causes them to slowly tear where they are riveted. Because the trip is riveted on, it cannot be easily replaced. This means the whole mop including the handle has to be replaced or the rivets must be drilled out and a new strip screwed on glued on. Still I find the system is better and less expensive in the long run than Swiffers.

I REALLY LIKE HOW THE 36 INCH WIDTH MAKES CLEANING SO MUCH FASTER. ALSO, THE HEAD HAS A SWIVEL THAT MAKES IT VERY EASY TO GO INTO NARROW PLACES. IT IS ALSO EASY TO CLEAN THE MICRO FIBER CLOTH WITH A STIFF BRUSH.

This mop is light wight and durable, I wish the microfiber fabric be little larger, as it shrinks after a wash and becomes barely the size of the aluminum frame, otherwise it would be a 5 star product

Excellent product! I chose this brand to replace another brand of 18" microfiber floor mop I've used for 2 years. This Nine Forty mop head looks, feels better made than the other mop which split apart at the head attaching to the pole. So I used the Nine Forty mop yesterday to clean walls and cielings after a remodel dust mess. I was very pleased with 3 points. The first is the pole is light weight but large diameter so it was easier to hold. Second, the mop head was steady and easier to turn different angles. Third, the mop head is rectangular and was easier to put on the microfiber mop than my old trapezoid shaped mop head...which also scraped the baseboards.
