After reading reviews for other thumb stabilizers, I decided to go with this known brand. I have a bone spur at the base of my left thumb and that thing hurts when I move my thumb! As soon as I got the stabilizer and put it on, instant relief. Fits well, straps adjust perfectly, it's very comfortable, and there's just the right amount of thumb support without being restrictive for the rest of my hand. I wear it every day. Highly recommend.

I’m on my 4th purchase. One of only two products I’ve found that are comfortable, with enough pressure and added stability and flexible enough to work in. They do wear out but not sure how long they are supposed to last with frequent use?

I have bone on bone at the base of my right thumb. This is the best brace I have found for stabilizing my thumb, relieving pain and still leaving my hand very functional.

Lightweight flexible support. Easy to put on and secure on either hand. Easy to perform manual tasks while wearing. Maintains shape after being hand washed.

"One size fits most." -- Provided "most" have a hand the size of a 10 yo. I like the design, but their idea of how big an adult's hand is seems about as distant from reality as it can be. My hands are "large" in the sense that they are very long, but narrow. And still, I've got seams as smooth as the blade of a ripsaw cutting into my flesh, and cords like emery paper scraping over my skin. I suppose I should have sent it back, but then I'd have nothing to support my thumb. Instead, I have a pack of micro-fiber cloths I use for cleaning my glasses, and one of these underneath the stabilizer -- at the seams and gaps -- solved all of the excruciating flaws and provided me with a working thumb stabilizer, which I really need. Ace is a brand name that I expect more from.

I have some kind of tendinitis in my wrist/thumb joint that flares up when doing certain tasks; eg. gardening, woodwork and even knitting etc. If I wear this when I do the tasks it is both protective and acts as a ‘warning’ to remind me to take it easy with that joint!

Too small for someone who wears M size gloves as the velcro string band will bite into my wrist and skin. I have other ACE products to protect my wrist w/o issues. The seller claiming 'fits most people' is misleading and false. In addition, it was advertised as 'free return'. Again, it was misleading and false because you would need to pay the postage costs to return the item. Lesson learned, do not buy from third party sellers - you never know what 'free returns' mean.
