Another Perry Mason tale.
Up to usual standard. Not great literature but a great read. Pleasant edition. You know Perry's going to win but the fun is seeing him get there!

Typically Mason, last minute courtroom shenanigans
Hallmark Perry Mason mystery where everyone seems to have it in for his client, yet somehow he drags the evil in-laws into the mire. When Selma's husband is poisoned by mistake at a friends house, the poisoners try to pin the murder on Selma's shoulders, framing it as though she had bumped her husband off to marry his wealthy friend. As with all Gardner's books, the clever plot-line is mixed with great personalities and the detective work and mental trickery is excellent. It doesn't quite match up to the standard of some of Gardner's greatest cases, but it is still a great book.
