Outstanding warning system
This product is wonderful. I live out in the country and my driveway is very long and the only way on to my property. Since I purchased the product I know when somone is arriving and I am usually waiting on them. I placed the sensor at the end of my driveway at least 200 feet away and I placed the base in the kitchen. This alarm has not missed one person. I have not had any false alarms but it does pick up chickens, dogs and the cat. I placed it 7 feet up on a tree and I built a little box to protect if from the weather and sun.The only improvement I can think of would be more detailed instructions on this product like letting me know it is normal for the light to flash and that the flashing indicated it deteced someone. It would have been nice to know you can reset the flashing light by pressing the playback button. It turned out to be pretty simple but I had to figure out some of the features on my own. Also the battery is already in the sensor whey you purchase the product. You have to remove the plastic that it is wrapped in for it to work. Just nice to know. Otherwise it was super simple to set up and I am very happy with this product. My dad has one and he really likes it as well.It is 31 Dec 12 and I still love my driveway alarm. only problem I have had is ants got into one of the receivers and shorted it out. I used it over the summer in the garden to scare away the deer. It was great. I had one sensor on either end and when they would jump in they would get one of two messages of me telling them to get out of the garden in crazy loud voices to startle them. Wish I had owned my bushnell camera then I bet the video would have been great...

Awful. Doesn't work.
I read the directions several times. I did all of the troubleshooting recommended. I used the blinds and then tried without the blinds. The receiver works well but the sensors don't work at all unless you are waving your hand right in front of the thing. (What use is that??) my car drove about five feet away in front of one of the sensors. It didn't pick it up. I returned it. Not even close to worth the money or hassle.

Works exactly as expected. One thing about this product is that it is pricey for the life of them. I have had to replace 3 of them over the past 5 years. I noticed that they made improvement on them by putting a dap of clue or silicone around the batter leads that go into the PC board because they would break at that point very easily.

Very expensive
Great system but very expensive for a China made product.

Get this yesterday.
I would heartily recommend this product, which expands the number of sensors for the Voice Alert System 6 home/driveway alarm receiver. I am not (at all) technically inclined but between me and my teenager we were able to figure this out. In all, I ordered four sensors and every single one of them works. The directions are short and only fill one large glossy sheet (not a book). To save yourself time and frustration, my suggestion is to read them, out loud, carefully, so you don't miss one tiny step, or it might drive you batty until you sort it out. I have had my first two for about a month and neither have failed to alert or given any false readings. One of them is in a sun room and the sun never set it off. After getting all of the different pieces the price might be considered a little high but I can assure you the sense of security of that these provide is very much worth the price. I love that we can record our own messages and change them as we move the sensors around, finding the perfect location for placement. (I would suggest temporary placement to make sure they are in the best location to meet your needs before screwing them in.) Installation couldn't be easier. Two little screws. That's it.As someone who is on a budget, and is budget wise, I have no regrets with this purchase to expand our base kit and I would definitely suggest it to family or friends.

Suddenly stopped working; replaced them, and still nothing, but the voice alert portion still works.
