This is a good balance of Gary Glitter and the Glitterband, a reminder of the 70's

Just because Paul Francis Gadd has a criminal record, it does not mean that we should not be allowed to enjoy the songs that he and the Glitter Band played; the only way to do this is by buying the CDs etc as they are no longer played on the radio.This is probably not the best of the best but it has a good range of their tracks and includes most of the hits without the Christmas hit which always seems silly in July! I bought it cheap from the ever reliable zoverstocks, for about two quid.

Blast from the past....yes we all know what he did, but it doesn’t change the memories of the 70’s

Well its pretty good I think. I wanted some not all of the Glitter Band hits and some not all of GG. On this album you actually have a mix of both. With the exception of Rock n Roll Part 1 which I would have liked, I pretty much have everything I wanted, and a few that I can't truthfully take to. Every band in living memory has tracks that are better than others and ones they would rather forget, and I am sure these guys are no different. What there is included is:Glitter Band: Lets Get Toegether Again, Goodbye My Love, The Tears I Cried, Angel Face, Just for YouGG: Hello I'm Back Again, Do You Wanna Touch Me?, I'm the Leader of the Gang, RR Part 2, I Love You Love Me Love, Always Yours.The 3 others that I dont much care for: Love in the Sun, Remember Me this Way, People Like You and People Like Me.That folks makes up the 14 tracks of this album. As I really like 11 of them and have memories that are really attached to them, as well as remembering them well from my obviously much more musically influenced pre-teen years than I realised, I think I have a good album here and I am happy. I don't mix music with personal affairs. These times remind me of people I knew and loved who are long gone now, and the 70"s when life seemed so much better as also was the charts and of course Top of the Pops :)

The 70's was my era and this is Glam Rock at its best.

Good cd great songs

Ok, we know what he did, bad/stupid man; but I was a teenager in the 1970's and glam rock was a big part of my life then. However, even at the time he creeped me out a bit, those TV programmes where he's with those young girls are quite disturbing/nauseating.

Cd case has big crack in and the cd is full of scratch marks really disappointed

Bin durch meinenBruder mit dieser Musik groß geworden und höre Glam-Rock wahnsinnig gern.Empfehlen möchte ich diese allen die auf etwas exzentrische Musik stehen - eben Glam-RockMan kann es nicht beschreiben -ist einfach total super
