I absolutely love this Cosco 2-Step Folding Step Stool! As someone who's not very tall, it’s been a game-changer for reaching high shelves in the kitchen and closet. The stool is super sturdy, yet lightweight, and folds up easily for storage. The rubber steps make it safe and non-slip, and I feel confident using it. This is the second one of these I have. It is the perfect height for me to reach my higher kitchen shelves. Very sturdy. Folds up for easy storage and great value for money. No assembly needed as it just folds open and closed. Love it!

It’s now 2023 and after 6 years and 3 moves, this stool continues to work as well as when it was new for myself and others in the family. I’m a senior, and still plenty mobile so the step stool has gotten a lot of use. I especially appreciate the design of the top bar — climbing up, I keep a hand on it to steady myself as needed. Standing on the top step, I use that top bar to brace against with my shins which adds a reassuring measure of stability. When it’s time to climb down, a hand on the top bar again steadies me. This 2-step stool is the perfect height for any tasks that are a foot or more below my 8-foot ceiling: changing bulbs, hanging pics, cleaning tops of windows and mirrors. At no time has the stool ever felt in danger of tipping and it remains as easy as ever to open and re-fold to its slim profile, so it’s easy to store. For context, users in our home are approx 5’ - 5’6” and weigh 140 - 170 lb. Additional note: you may be familiar with those thick white folding plastic stools. We’ve had one for years and while they aren’t quite as tall, they are equally sturdy. However, as a person with occasional balance issues, I’ve found this Cosco stool to be a much MUCH better choice for me.

Believe it or not, I bought this in 2011 from Amazon, for like 20 bucks. I was moving into my first home, and a step stool is a game changer for us "vertically challenged" individuals. Probably the most high quality purchase I have ever made. Even though my weight has fluctuated and I have gotten older, I've had zero problems with it. Easy to open, super stable, and it's just plain handy to have around. Probably the best purchase ever made from Amazon. It cost twice as much now, but it's really one of those you get what you pay for deals. It'll probably last you your lifetime like it does me.

This stepstool doesn't take up a lot of storage space. It is very sturdy and never shakes when I am using it. It came assembled and I only needed to fold it out. Very happy with the purchase
